We as a Indian audiance, our expectations from the bollywood cinematography Is getting higher and higher since we have watched Netflix and Amazon prime series soo much in pandemic when movie theatre are on hault . This might be bad for B.O collection but good for audience since they producers will invest more in script and might get good grade Bollywood movies in future

When I was 6 years old, Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir were romancing 23-24 year olds. I am 34 today and they are still romancing 23-24 year olds. If this isnt disturbing, I dont know what is. Not to mention the new kids these days are remaking their movies, without an iota of acting talent. And obviously their off-Bollywood shenanigans dont help in sullying their reputation.
Six years ago, I shifted to anime for slice of life, k-dramas for romance, Hollywood for fantasy, and European dramas for good old thrillers. Never looked back.

But there are very few people in marathi industry who do not belong to that cast and they make best marathi films than bollywood. I am not mentioning the name of caste because I dont want to spread hate but if you want you can find which caste people runs marathi industry.
Well technically all these films were sold to OTTs at great prices so basically most of them did their earning from there and theatrical release just adds bonus to it. So we can't surely say how many are actually flop.

IDK why Bollywood movies have high budgets like 100-180cr which will be a normal movie not with great VFX. Kgf is just 100cr which is technically way ahead than these movies. They should learn to make good films with right budget. If they just spend money like this this will continue

Southern movies are made in only their own state as they represent only one state. Bollywood has to go on national and even international scale in production which increases the cost. Plus actors are now stars and obviously will demand more money (happens in every industry). Saying is easy but doing isn't. thing about Bollywood I am disappointed with is the same repeated jokes. they do not use any bad word but state it indirectly or by creating double meaning.
