I see a ton of these videos of people getting their ears pierced but they piercer always puts the needle through the persons ear so slow like i just got two more helix piercings and the guy who did it was really fast and it didn’t hurt as bad that way
I just got my third holes (both ears) and helix on my right ear back in March and my third holes definitely hurt way worse than the helix! I did the helix first,also, thinking it would be the most painful and boy was I wrong 😅
The second one always hurts more than the first one. I got my triple lobes done of Friday and I initially thought my third hole would hurt the least since there’s less skin but that one hurt the most since it was done last. However it was really quick.
Get them done with medical grade metal or really high quality golf but obvi that's more expensive. The type of metal you have sitting inside your body while it heals makes a huge difference.
Go to a tattoo shop that has good ratings since you want everything to be as clean and sterile as possible and you want professional staff that’ll take you through the process. Also no piercing guns. The unwritten rule is "if you see a piercing gun, run." Avoid going to the mall.
My piercings didn’t hurt to be honest, the most painful part of piercing my ears was learning how to sleep. I ended up getting a pillow with a hole so I could sleep on my sides.
The helix shouldn’t really hurt when u get it pierced (it should hurt as much as ur lobe ) but after that when u gotta wash it IT STINGSSS,and uhm if ur LOBES hurt,they did sum wrong😭
This makes me feel less weird about wanting my double helix on both ears. I know it’s not as common but only having it on one makes me feel uneven. However I did it this way so I could sleep. In a few months I’ll have my other side done.

i got my helix pierced today and it still stings after an hour but the pain is definitely worth it if you want one it really just feels like an injection for your ear around 4/10 on pain scale.

I have my 2nd cartilage piercing on my left ear and both ears with a conch piercing. I also have my lobes pierced 3 times and of course my 1st cartilage piercing done by a gun. I only have 5 piercings done by a needle so far. I rather have piercings done by a needle over a gun.
Lobe piercings are like 2/10 painful I don’t even realize it really. I used to have two lobe piercings on each ear and then I took the second ones out. Tomorrow I’m getting it again and getting my helix done on my right ear wish me luck I’m sooo scared. 😨😭

I did all of mine on my own I have three on each lobe 1 helix 1 tragus 1 nose and my daith which was a pain in the ass my helix didn’t hurt that bad helix was like 4/10 lobe was like 7/10 tragus 5/10 daith 10000/10
I got 2 helix besides each other TRUST ME 2nd one hurts like hell 😭😭😭 i had a root canal in a third world country where anesthesia is given sparingly, a tattoo, upper lip threading, eyebrow threading, and none of them hurt as much as that second helix 🥲

Maybe she just has a low pain tolerance or it hurts more for her cause everyone reacts differently
also it’s adrenaline the more piercings you do at a time the more the adrenaline decreases so it hurts more

I got my ear’s pierced recently and it was fine, only stung a bit. As long as you don’t go to claire’s it won’t get infected haha

For me my 2nd two lobe is not that painful compared to my helix and my mid helix. My mid helix is not that completely healed.😟
