Maverick reminds me of an amazing British singer you may want to check out. Finley Quaye and the album is call Maverick a Strike. Even has his name in the album.
Mav is Irish. His Irish parents, he was born in Hackey in London (England) and moved to New Ross (Wexford, Ireland) when he was a kid, has a mixed Wexford and London accent, since he was a teenager everyone in the Irish hiphop scence knew he'd make dope shit. started off as a rapper and then switched to rapping over guitar tracks and evolved to singing over soul, but he's genuinley a top tier rapper behind it all. His album When I Wake Up is a classic and the track Glory is insane.
It’s so good to see someone reacting to Mav. Why don’t more people know about him? I love his voice so much. These Days, Open My Eyes, Let Me Go and Cold Game are also fantastic and worth a try if you haven’t already
Irish parents. Born in England. Moved back home, has songs about the trials and tribulations he had to go through being a young lad trying to fit in in his native land but being viewed British. He not from up thr north, hes roots are from county Ofaly . Honestly I don't know how he's been slept on all these years. I heard him years years back on some garage tunes, chase and status had him on a track or 2. Hes got some deadly tunes apart from this. Check out: Hold on Come fly away Give it up Why Mother Walk into the sun Falling again Give me love Lay your head Into nirvana Let me go No one Cold game Shooting the stars Drifting Guns in the distance
Very late to this reaction but thank you for doing it, my favourite singer! On the off chance you do see this, I would make a different request for maverick sabre then anybody else has in the comments. I would highly recommend his cover of an absolute classic sam cooke song - maverick sabre - a change is gonna come. His version is imo the best cover i have heard of that song and is a joy to listen to. Even if you don't react to it for the channel i can't recommend listening enough. If you do just listen let me know what you thought! I can also recommend some of his more recent songs if you would like also including his most recent album?
I remember seeing him when I lived in Stonebridge. He was only about 20yrs old. Soulful beyond his years.

@@Jurnalist_ he really did fall off tbh it’s a shame cause he’s so talented 💯
@@IEarlGrey I think he more so started taking checks to write records.
Better money less work and he’s with Jorja if I connected the dots. 😂😂
your glasses suit you so much! loved this
He's from Ireland his accent is mad different to the singing voice. One of his new ones *Not easy love* is fuckin nice
ill check that one too.
He's from wexford, which as almost as south as you can possible get in Ireland.
He is not from Northern Ireland at all
Hes english but lived in Ireland most his life
Okay makes sense where the twang in accent comes from now.
He's half english half Irish
Maverick Sabre is 🔥🔥. In terms of UK rnb/soul check Cleo Sol - Why Don't You - Colours Show. Also he is English but has Irish roots.
I’ll check that Cleo joint to bless for this.

He could have been as big as Ed Sheeran. Probably more talented if im honest.
Factors. This is why a bad label deal can rob us of generational talent. I am happy bro is back doing bits though now.
Think he’s Irish, sure I remember him speaking with an Irish accent.
I am just now getting these comments wtf. 😭😭
