In reality your gold laner will start cussing you if you don't baby sit them, they think that a roamer should always be on their side no matter what 😂 , they dont understand things like helping the jungler early securing its buffs, provide vision for your team, rotate with your mid laner and jungler for ganks, secure objectives like turtle and tower downs, potentially invade enemy jungle whenever possible.
Just mute the chat. That’s low rank stuff. I played roam to mythic using essentially these same tips and obviously you still rotate to gold lane but objectives and roaming with your mid/jg is a much better way to play regardless of whiny teammates
You can always start mid because the wave arrives before the other two. This gives you enough time to help clear (which helps mages like vale and Change who cannot clear waves fast early and match enemy roam if they are mid and then rotate to either lane depending on the enemy/ ally opportunities. It gives you mid prio and ensures you will be the first to rotate.

This will annoy the enemy marksmen forcing him to engage carelessly. Sometimes even tower dive. When I play gold lane, I usually ask my roam to support the jungler first. A fat jungler can easily secure ypur mid-game advantage.
But you shouldn't help your jungler early because the buff minion just gets harder to kill if there are allies at close. Some have already experimented and the damage of the jungler to the buff monster really decreases. The advice of Benthings who is a pro player and one of the best ML content creators is to help clear mid and then prioritize helping the xp laner until the first turtle is killed.
Even in mythic rank, some players never check minimap. I lost count how many times I provided vision that 3-4 enemies are coming to gank a lane. Then I spammed retreat, and still the player died cauae they didn't back up. Some even blamed me for not saving them. Even if I used all my skills, they'd still die when outnumbered.
In my several years of playing the game, i never knew the green semicircle on the my allies' icon meant their ult is ready. Thanks for the guide man this really helped
You forgot to say that don't clear the first 5mins minion wave of marksman if she's not by your side because you'll not benefit from it and you only delay the gold of Marksman, by clearing the minion i know the gold will be given to your teammates but it has a big impact to the marksman because she needs to last hit the minions for more gold advantage to enemy marksman

As a main jungler, this is still very important to learn honestly. Other roles should learn how other roles play in order to achieve great temmwork. As a jungler, being a main damage hero must know when the roamer will engage and must have vision of the map. Since junglers are often so weak and close ranged(talking abt assassins), a good tank would really help them get their buffs easily hence helping them fight better in early to mid game. So really thank you.
Great vid! Just wanted to add that if you are helping your team's jg taking their creeps dont last hit them. We all know abt not last hitting buffs but also other creeps are important. The best example is the little pet of the blue buff- many times roamers would last hit it. Although the jg will have all the xp and gold, it affects their retribution lvl as it also scales off on the nº of creeps you kill- hence after the early game jg rotation, the jg retribution wont have their passives active and have to take other creeps to compensate, like litho or crab.
And that's why no one wants the roamer role. I am always amazed whenever someone proactively chooses this role, and I try my best to support them, usually as a mage.
Tbh if they would fix the match making that would make this hand way more interesting my last 20 games have either been with nothing but people whom play roam or mid I never have a mix it's annoying af then I get stuck jungleing and they wanna get mad at me cause I can't kill anyone that they fed first 10 min top and bot lane usually 5 or 6 deaths n maybe 1 kill like wtf
There’s one moba called honor of kings that got its global release. It lets u pick 2 roles b4 queue so prblms like that don’t happen. It makes solo much easier. Mlbb should do the same

correction: favor boota do not give extra shield. It only gives a fixed amount of healing to the allied hero with the lowest hp (extra healing depends on roaming gold). It has a cd of 10 seconds and is triggered by healing skills or skills that gives shield. (does not work for self healing or seld shield). for example mathilda's second skill gives shield to nearby teammate. Favor will be triggered and heal 1 of his teammates that has the lowest hp but it does not increase the shield that is given.
This is the reason why I quit playing Angela i was so good at it but my teammates won't cope with the rest and some of my team mate actually believe they can take 1 vs 5 just because angela is on their side 😭
I was using Hylos and signaled retreat to Gold Lane as I was too far away and closer to exp. After we got a kill in exp, the top failed team fight and mm ask me where I'm at(in a negative tone). So what I did was I babysit his lane the entire game AND "secured" all the kills. That no-map bozo shut up really quick and needless to say, I won with MVP. If you're a soloq tank, you must chat like you're the hyper. Always ask them if they're Superman if they try to get out of the tower w/o you.
Actually you’re the problem! Why were you in exp? When gold mm is important? Obviously enemy will invade mm and try to farm their mm for damage! Top priority is mm to get farmed and stay safe at all times! Mm can’t save itself like the other roles.

if you are a tank, always stand in front and "Tank". Just because your skill is on cd doesn't mean you have to stand behind and only move in front when you have your skills active, your opponent doesn't know that and will be wary of you. I mainly play as a tank. I meant to cover the whole map as a roamer. Not to babysit mm. Stop playing as mm if you dont know how to survive solo in your lane. I will come visit you and other lanes as well. That is why i am the roamer, not mm babysitter.

As Exp i focus Tower and help to Mage and Jungler. that dosen't mean i go blindly after them to 1v5 or 2v5 fight. I rather stay safe and farm. As Jungle i focus 2 things, ( 1. If i take buff i gank the edge lane = Gold or exp even if other buff is spawned. that applies pressure to enemy and give some free time for gold or exp laner. and 2. My Life is more important than Turtle. if i see 3 or 4 enemies on turtle i rather go farm or steal their buff than try to steal turtle and die if i see no one is even trying to help me.) As Tank i can't count how many times my team was so low iq that they attack grouped enemy when i was away or low hp and they died... but don't help me even when i perfectly initate. As Tank i play agressive always going in middle of fight. if i see enemies i try to initate spamming attack msg button. but in very very many instances i die coz team never helpes me. (for example last match. i used tigreal and enemy had no tank only rafaela, Clint, Zilong, Pharsa and Saber. i Ulted all 5 with Flicker ult pushed them 2 of them from my combo had around 50 % hp. in this time My team, Gord sitting in bush and smelling flowers next to me. Ling doing Yoga poses on Wall, Miya recall spamming, and Terrizla fighting solo lord. I die. ling with gord attacks, Pharsa Fly away to bushes, saber ults ling and kills him, Clint burst gord by avoiding his ball, Rafa speeds upp allies no one dies. Miya after those 2 pawns die attack 1v5 and die. Terizla almost kills solo lord but 5 enemies go for lord and kill him in 2 -3 skills. Like this Perfect set up changed to reason why we lost, coz respawn toke over 30 seconds.)
bro i am using johnson and i follow cedxviś rotation, but i twist it slightly by travelling quite a fair bit and also helping whichever lane needs more help. my friend who plays with me and dont need help but cant secure some kills keep blaming me. is it my fault?

Problem with roam is teammates, you have a good set up, then they all run away, you're left there crying getting beat up

I use tank heroes and i protect (in low hp) lesley ult my teammate but "report roamer feeder" not said "thanks"
