They are thodas of nilgiris.i have many friends who are from the thoda community.i have many cherishing memories from their villages.they don't mostly allow unknown people in their villages. They also don't wear slippers most of the time.(they only wear when they're going out of their villages). They have a great bonding with buffaloes.they breed them .they are also a big part of their auspicious as well as bad ceremonies.if some one is dead,they slaughter a buffalo and mourn for it .they are lovely people.
@@niyasmadathumpoil269 you can go from Ooty or conoor .I think there are no bus to their villages .either by ur car or bike .I don't remember route but locals can navigate you.(they don't leave outsiders inside their villages until you know someone in a particular village).there are many villages . You can't simply enter their villages. They'll make you to go from there. Best of luck
