- President Cyril Ramaphosa announced his cabinet to constitute the seventh administration as a government of national unity on Sunday comprising 11 parties. While ANC MPs filled most cabinet positions, DA MPs were appointed to six ministries and the IFP to two ministries while the PAC, Patriotic Alliance, GOOD, and FF Plus got a ministry each. Other members of the coalition parties were appointed deputy ministers.

ANC forms 75% of ministers and depity ministers. ANC is still in control whereas they had only 40 % in the election. The party representation is not in the same ratio as how the people had votted for. This should be written in the constitution that a president cannot change the party representation in the cabinet. ..
(A Party must have about 2.5 million registered voters before it can be registered as a party. Max 15 parties for the country).

It's to ensure no corruption
not really that bloated if you consider the fact that we probably pissed away double their salaries through corruption. Maybe investing in a few babysitters isn't the worst thing at the moment. We also have a unique amount of critical issues in a wide variety of sectors, so this 'bloat' is the most effective short term strategy to maximise effective governance (if everyone works together)
