  • car was not built with the intention to speed run. it's literally a roller with electronics slapped in, nothing special.

    You’ve got to clean your pinion grub screw hole and screw with brake cleaner or alcohol then use blue lock tite and you’ll NEVER have a pinion come off again… period.

    Brooo.... can a MAX6 esc run this motor? I just got this motor and want to RUUUUUUUUN!!!!

    Mine is solid. I actually reseated the set screws with loctite and it's solid and it actually is built for speed runs. Mine is extremely fast and it doesn't come apart like that. It did right out of the box when I bought it I had the same problem and since then no issues.

      90mph crash will break pretty much any RC car. I built it to street bash, I never had interest in speed running it. I have a ak917 and other cars for that. I'm surprised it's as quick as it is for a car that I drive around the apartment complex when I get bored. It's been pretty reliable

      @@OmniMan_Racing Well yes, it will break at any high speed but I was referring to the screws coming loose.

      @@kwattro76 screw didn't come loose. The hub broke

      @@kwattro76 no I got some stock replacements for $9.57 shipped. I don't plan to sink money into this car. I just want to keep it simple and running
