I remember the days when you wanted to change your skin everything was in horizontal. (Like switching from one skin pack to another skin pack.) That brings back lots of memories, even though I started playing Minecraft in the TU19 Tutorial World. Or maybe the TU17 I can’t quite remember probably, most likely in all cases it was TU19

I long for the feelings i felt when i'd explore this world. There was truly something scary yet so fun about wandering around this vast world. Remember one of my favorite parts of this world was the "hidden" village along the light house and the hidden set of Diamond armor and tools. It was surely something awesome for my 12 year old mind, never would have guessed that these times would be so missed exactly 10 years later. Thank you for uploading this.

I remember my dad coming home from work, and while me and my brother walk over to him, happy to see him back, and my dad reaches from behind him and pulls out a green Xbox360 game case.
That was the first moment in my entire life that I saw Minecraft, and oh man, that game took me by storm.
I remember starting up the tutorial world with my brother beside me, bugging me to give him the controller because we were too young to figure out how to pair the second one to the console, and appearing in this tutorial world. I spent years of my life loving this game as much as I could. Every time I came home from school, every time I was done hanging out with my friends, when we moved from Lubbock, to Houston, to Hurst, and now all the way in Oregon, I've had this game with me. I've played it on the Xbox, my computer, my phone, every single device that could play this game, I downloaded it.
This game is so full of memories and relationships with me, my brother and my friends that I could never forget about it, even if I live the rest of my life without hearing about it again.
I love Minecraft, and despite how much I don't like the feeling of nostalgia, I continue to play it to this day because even after all of these years, it's still as good a game as I remember.
    Thank you, Minecraft.

I remember back in 2011 when i was a 6 year old kid. My brother's returned home with my dad to surprise with a brand new xbox 360 *back then that's what we used to call it*. Then me and my brothers were extremely thrilled, so we started to open up the boxes with pure satisfaction and sensation. We had everything all set and connected. Consequently we started to play the tutorial and we all pretty much do really miss the old version and i would just like to say thank you for uploading this beautiful video it gives us glorious memories as permanent!

I was stuck on the Xbox 360 and I never had a chance to play the game on pc when it hit Alpha or Beta. Sometimes, I wish I could go back and do it all over again. Let me share my experience and memories of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Editon. Back in say 2012-13 I went to GameStop with my dad in a nearby mall, we bought a disc of Minecraft for the 360, and I played it for hours straight for months, I never had connected my Xbox 360 to internet, so my copy of Minecraft never updated from it’s original version from when I bought it, I believe there was redstone displayed in the beginning of the tutorial world, I played the game without hunger bars either, I was only like 6-7 years old at the time, so I never knew their were newer versions of the game. I have so many memories of split screen play with my friends and siblings in my world that I probably have 2000+ hours on. After we bought an Xbox One in 2015, my father sold our old Xbox 360, fortunately I still have Minecraft in it’s all original form on the disc, I even still have the game case and manual, I have played Minecraft in some way ever since.

This makes me so sad. So much lost in time. A genuine happiness that once bloomed in my heart seems to have faded over the years I’ve grown. I wonder if I will ever feel the way I once did as a kid again. Seeing this brings back everything but it seems to be trapped on the other side of this screen.

i was probably about 10 when xbox 360 version came out. This game was probably the first one to ever get me depressed/blue from playing it. The music was the main factor, also the world being pretty void without much stuff to do other than walking was enough to make a 10 year old depressed. but i loved it anyways and i think i'll never be able to replicate the feelings i had when playing this game as a child

    Minecraft Tutorial:
    1. New features have been added to the game in the latest version, including new areas in the tutorial world.
    2. Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. At night monsters come out, make sure to build a shelter before that happens.
    3. This is your inventory. It shows items available for use in your hand, and all the other items that you are carrying. Your armor is also shown here.
    4. Use L to move the pointer. Use A to pick an item under the pointer. If there is more than one item here this will pick them all up, or you can use X to pick up just half of them.
    5. Move this item with the pointer over another space in the inventory and place it down using A. With multiple items on the pointer, use A to place them all, or X to place just one.
    6. If you move the pointer outside the edge of the interface with an item on the pointer, you can drop the item.
    7. If you want to know what an item can be used for, move the pointer over the item and press R.
    8. This is the crafting interface. This interface allows you to combine the items you've collected to make new items.
    9. Scroll through the Group Type tabs at the top using L and R to select the group type of the item you wish to craft, then use L to select the item to craft.
    10. The crafting area shows the items you require in order to craft the new item. Press A to craft the item and place it in your inventory.
    11. You can craft a larger selection of items using a crafting table. Crafting on a table works in the same way as basic crafting, but you have a larger crafting area allowing more combinations of ingredients.
    12. The bottom right part of the crafting interface shows your inventory. This area can also show a description of the currently selected item, and the ingredients required to craft it.
    13. The description of the currently selected item is now displayed. The description can give you an idea of what the item can be used for.
    14. The list of ingredients required to craft the selected item are now displayed.
    15. Use L to use items, interact with objects and place some items. Items that have been placed can be picked up again by mining them with the right tool.
    16. Night time can approach quickly, and it is dangerous to be outside unprepared. You can craft armor and weapons, but it is sensible to have a safe shelter.
    17. Nearby there is an abandoned Miner's shelter that you can complete to be safe overnight.
    18. You will need to collect the resources to complete the shelter. Walls and roof can be made of any tile type, but you will want to create a door, some windows and lighting.
    19. You have completed the first part of the tutorial.
    20. This is the furnace interface. A furnace allows you to change items by firing them. For example, you can turn iron ore into iron ingots in the furnace.
    21. You need to put some fuel into the bottom slot of the furnace, and the item to be changed in the top slot. The furnace will then fire up and start working, putting the result in the right-hand slot.
    22. Many wooden items can be used as fuels, but not everything burns for the same time. You may also discover other items in the world that can be used as a fuel.
    23. When your items have been fired, you can move them from the output area into your inventory. You should experiment with different ingredients to see what you can make.
    24. Charcoal can be used as a fuel, as well as being crafted into a torch with a stick.
    Reminders:
    1. Use R to look up, down and around.
    2. Use L to move around.
    3. Press A to jump.
    4. Hold R to mine and chop using your hand or whatever you are holding. You may need to craft a tool to mine some blocks...
    5. Hold R to chop down 4 blocks of wood (tree trunks). When a block breaks you can pick it up by standing near to the floating item that appears, causing it to appear in your inventory.
    6. As you collect and craft more items, your inventory will fill up. Press Y to open the inventory.
    7. Press B now to exit the inventory.
    8. Press X to open the crafting interface.
    9. The wood that you have collected can be crafted into planks. Select the planks icon and press A to create them.
    10. A lot of crafting can involve multiple steps. Now that you have some planks there are more items that you can craft. Use L to change to the item you wish to craft. Select the crafting table.
    11. A lot of crafting can involve multiple steps. Now that you have some planks there are more items that you can craft. Create a crafting table.
    12. Now you have bulit a crafting table you should place it in the world to enable you to build a larger selection of items. Press B now to exit the crafting interface.
    13. Use L and R to change the current held item. Select the crafting table.
    14. With the crafting table selected, point the crosshair where you want it and use L to place a crafting table.
    15. Point the crosshair at the crafting table and press L to open it.
    16. To make collecting blocks faster you can build tools designed for the job. Some tools have a handle made of sticks. Craft some sticks now.
    17. Press L and R to change to the group type of the items you wish to craft. Select the tools group.
    18. Use L to change to the item you wish to craft. Some items have multiple versions depending on the materials used. Select the wooden shovel.
    19. A shovel helps dig soft blocks, like dirt and snow, faster. As you collect more materials you can craft tools that work faster and last longer. Create a wooden shovel.
    20. An axe helps chop wood and wooden tiles, faster. As you collect more materials you can craft tools that work faster and last longer. Create a wooden axe.
    21. A pickaxe helps dig hard blocks, like stone and ore, faster. As you collect more materials you can craft tools that work faster and last longer, and allow you to mine harder materials. Create a wooden pickaxe.
    22. With the tools you have bulit you are off to a great start, and are able to collect a variety of different materials more efficiently. Press B now to exit the crafting interface.
    23. Use your pickaxe to mine some stone blocks. Stone blocks will produce cobblestone when mined. If you collect 8 cobblestone blocks you can build a furnace. You may need to dig through some dirt to reach the stone, so use your shovel for this.
    24. You have collected enough cobblestone to build a furnace. Use your crafting table to create one.
    25. Some items can not be created using the crafting table, but require a furnace. Craft a furnace now.
    26. Place the furnace you have crafted in the world. You will want to put this inside your shelter. Press B now to exit the crafting interface.
    27. Use L to place the furnace in the world, and then open it.
    28. If you use wood as the ingredient then you can make charcoal. Put some fuel in the furnace and wood in the ingredient slot. It can take some time for the furnace to create the charcoal, so feel free to do something else anf come back to check the progress.
    29. Use the furnace to create some charcoal. If you are waiting for it to finish how about using the time to collect more materials to finish the shelter?
    30. Placing sand in the ingredient slot allows you to make glass. Create some glass blocks to use as windows in your shelter.
    31. Use the furnace to create some glass. If you are waiting for it to finish how about using the time to collect more materials to finish the shelter?
    32. A good shelter will have a door so that you can easily go in and out without having to mine and replace the walls. Craft a wooden door now.
    33. It can get very dark at night, so you will want some lighting inside your shelter so that you can see. Craft a torch now from sticks and charcoal using the crafting interface.
    34. Use L to place the door. You can use L to open and close a wooden door in the world.
    Fishing Rod:
    1. You are now using a fishing rod. Press L to use it.
    2. Press L to cast your line and start fishing. Press L again to real in the fishing line.
    3. If you wait until the float sinks below the surface of the water before feeling in you can catch a fish. Fish can be eaten raw, or cooked by a furnace, to restore health.
    4. As you with many other tools a fishing rod has a mixed number of uses. Those uses are not limited to catching fish though. You should experiment with it to see what else can be caught or activated...
    Reminders:
In the chest beside the pond there is a fishing rod. Take the fishing rod from the chest and select it as the current item in your hand to use it.
    Minecarts:
    1. You are now riding in a minecart. To exit the minecart, point the cursor at it and press L.
    2. A minecart runs on rails. You can also craft a powered minecart with a furnace and a minecart with a chest in it.
    3. You can also craft powered rails, which take power from redstone torches and circuits to accelerate the cart. These can be connected to switches, levers and pressure plates to make complex systems.
    Reminders:
In this area there is a minecart on a track. To enter the minecart, point the cursor at it and press L. Use L on the button to make the minecart move.

Ive seen so many inconsistencies between versions of the tu3 world like why in some are the bookshelves in the church seperated by 2 blocks and other 3?

    • @TheMinecraftArchitect
      @TheMinecraftArchitect  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

i think 4j studios did not put a lot of time into the creation of this tutorial world, hence all of the inconsistencies.. good catch tho!

It’s such a shame you can’t access legacy versions of Minecraft on consoles like you can on Pc. Once the new update rolls around there’s no going back
The closest you can get is deleting all the updates on the 360 edition but that leads you to TU1. It’s either the latest version or TU1; no cycling between versions. Xenia has been ported to the series xbox consoles so hopefully that becomes a meaningful and convenient way to preserve and play older versions of this game.

If you still have an Xbox 360, you can downgrade to any title update. Unfortunately that's not possible on newer consoles, although I wish it was..

It would have been cool if someone put the title update 3 tutorial map online so people could use horizon mb to put it on people's profiles on xbox 360.. it would have been a epic nostalgia trip first hand..

What if you recreate this tutorial world but with all the tutorial spawn point cities and castle in one world with the latest update 1.20 in 7 biomes per TU spawn point's structures 👀. biomes from 1.14 and above nor (obviously) ocean biomes included; nonetheless TU69 world spawn point area included. Custom structures are welcome. Railroad stations not required, but recommended u.u
