timely! lately, I been feeling a sense of "hush" in my spirit. no words coming out my mouth. just smiles, wonder, and gazing at Jesus. at first I thought I was being lazy with my prayer time. but, if I am ready to stand in the presence of God without words & my heart is positioning in expectancy, how is that wrong?! PRAISE THE ALMIGHTY GOD! who is not impressed by our articulation, but who meets every need unspoken! #quiethearts

It also says that if we won’t praise Him, He will make the rocks cry out. J L , I don’t know about you but no rock will ever take my place! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Psalm 118:24 says- this is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it! We have to make a decision everyday to rejoice no matter what happens throughout the day. God bless you!😊

Eric, can you always feel God? Sometimed after I have a mega encounter with the Lord I feel like He hid His face and I don't feel Him. Why is that? Did I do something wrong? Is He punishing me for doing something wrong? Is He testing me?
Because right now I am struggling and I can't not feel God and have that at the same time. Yknow?

He has not hid His face from you. We will not always feel God and do not allow your feelings to deceive you. Remember God is not in a “feeling”, but in truth and we know He says that He will never leave nor forsake us. He is not a man that He shall lie about His word.

Its not your "job" to get to Him. That "old" system and way is no more, obsolete, discarded. HE has you in his grip, you are owned, bought with a price. He purchased your soul and He refuses to give it over nor give it up. Rest now. Be restored. He is the abiding and does the abiding, you do not. We can do nothing in our own power, desire, and will. It's ALL Him. Rest, accept, recieve like a helpless babe. Effortless, no stress, pressure, qualification, rejection, nor condemnation. You are eternally accepted and welcomed. His blood is enough for you and for all.

May I just add some caution regarding that wonderful passage of scripture that speaks of 'abiding'. The instruction is that we abide in Him, the vine..... and He abides in us. We abide in His Word & in His Love (choice & a deliberate discipline)and His Word & His love abides in us. John 15. We have a relationship with Christ and grace is given to empower us to abide.......... fantastic. Have a great life :-)
