So many of these were very powerful with as little musical accompaniment as possible, many only a guitar or piano. To be able to emote so beautifully in a stripped down version really shows the talent level of the contestants. Lovely. 💁🏻♀️💕💕
I can’t enjoy a song unless the singer can make me feel something. The last video was a low point but I have to say that this video is THE BEST YET!!! So many soulful singers!!!! Thank you for this!!!!!
The selections here are just so darned GOOD. I envy Tim Blommaert's full-toned vocal gifts and could listen to Paula Dalla Corte all day long. More, Miss Selina's Comeback Stage performance made the perfect ending for this compilation. Thank you, Pure, this No. 147 gets a huge 👍 and a great big 💗!!!
Cholla Ranch, thank you! Selina was a pleasant surprise! She did not pass the blind audition, but a fifth coach, named Laura Tesoro brought her back to the stage "The Voice Comeback Stage", a new resource! I will put this complete video in the next compilation : ))
One of the things that's good about the Voice is that the performers sometimes sing songs you've never heard before, or sing songs you've forgotten about. I can't remember the last time I heard "You Gotta Be" but I remember liking the song. Thanks for posting this! [By the way, for those watching Sezina's progress on TVOH, Channa Hewitt (whose blind audition is in this compilation) won the Battle but coach Waylon made it clear he was taking both of them through -- so he saved Sezina.]
@@angemusik9406 That's hard to answer because they were really evenly matched. Channa added runs and high notes to the song (Journey, "Open Arms") and Sezina mostly sang it straight. But I like the song sung straight. So maybe Sezina, by a hair, but there was no clear favorite.

Then again, your opinion is just as valid as mine. :-) Both Channa and Sezina are very good singers, and you could call Sezina a prodigy because she's so good at only 16. I wonder if either of them took singing lessons or if they just have natural abilities.

I got a strange though when watching the first one on here. They showed a shot of his girlfriend? in the back wearing a mic I think--well someday I'd like to all of a sudden hear someone in the back jump in. Probably just me--but of course they would have to be good, very good.
