- There will be 11 new MRT stations in Bangkok. 4 of them are very special and will be considered works of art. Style and design in each station will be unique to the area in which it is locate as you will see in this video.

How gorgeous the station designed, People can get in the old town faster than before. Bangkok is the most beautiful city.
The amazing thing about these new stations is that they blend in so well with the surrounding buildings and they don't have the typical "metro station" look.

This line is MRT Blue line extension in Bangkok. Open service 4 phases
This line is name "Chalermratchamongkorn" and mean is " Celebration for the King"
This name is important because The last King
(King Bhumipol Adunyadej RamaIX on Chakri Dynasty) give name for this line and state visit open on 3 July 2004 (Phase 1 20 kilometers).
Phase 2 Open 1.2 kilometers (Bangsue to Taopoon Station).
Phase 3 In this clip (5 stations before open full on 29 th September 2019)
(Bangkok Railway Staion:Hualumpong to Laksong Station (Near The Mall Department Store)).
In this line, you can visit Chinatown, Royal Grand Palace, Wat Po, Bangkok City Pillar (I call Thai City Pillar on present), Flower Market, Wathongrattanaram (Near Isaraphap station), Old Royal Grand Palace (Thonburi Palace open especially on 28 December annual), Watarunratchawararam (Temple of Dawn), and the first tunnel MRT electrified train across under The Chaopraya river.
Phase 4 open on 2020. When open complete, you can visit and transport circular line.

To the future Philippine subway station designs...sana naman sagarin na ang design ng stations natin para mka attrack ng tourist...hindi yung tamang daanan lang..kawaykaway sa magagaling na architect at engineer jan at sa project planner. looking forward.

@@EleanorShellsdrop since mag iinvest narin sa ganitong public infra, sana naman pati yung architectural design yung upto da maximum or da best narin..sayang po kasi..plus gaganahan ang riding public na gumamit ng subway..sana all public infra maisip nila yan..pati landscaping ng mga public areas sobrang low standard natin.napag iwanan na talaga tayo.

ตอนนี้กำลังจัดระเบียบ และปรับพื้นที่ทางเท้าย่านเยาวราชแล้วเอาสายไฟฟ้าทั้งหมดลงดินปี 2564 ต่างชาติมาไทยคงงง ว่ามาถุกประเทศไหม 555 เปลี่ยนไปเยอะมากในหลายๆที่

Marita Leu I have had no luck photographing on the MRT. There are prominent signs in all the old stations stating ‘No photography’. Maybe your experiences have been different to mine. I’m glad to hear they have been more positive.
Now mrt in SEA can be found in singapore, malaysia, thailand and indonesia
But Jakarta MRT is going full function over form. It is designed to work, not designed to be aesthetic. Not that I have any problem with that, I prefer it that way in fact. More budget can be spent for something better. Just stating the facts and differences.
