As if there has nothing significant happened in groove box tech since the originals were built (besides these here). Great sound and a real groove of its own.
This is a late revision type rimshot (higher tuning) it can of course be changed to a previous serial number type (lower pitch) check our blog for the service notes and you can compare your serial number to various voice changes over the production runs of the TR. There's quite a few changes in the voices, interesting stuff.
Those kits (as tasty as they are) are FOOKIN' expensive, if you pay a builder to build them for you (somewhat cheaper if you build them all yourself, but at a significantly longer completion time)...
I’m not sure about a lot, I think this is a good middle ground: passionate people, true to the original, spare part available, no Behringer type up/downgrades or cheap parts. I think this is a net plus.
Dinsync is the MAN! I've been following him for years, I would definitely score his whole collection of the RE-series when I get a chance

I used to drool over these classic drum machines but now i find them underwhelming.
Kind of agree, however if you live with them you find ways in using effects and getting way more variation out of them. DP/4 works wonders.
jumbling words but still just 'cloning' other peoples interlectual property and making alot of manoey from it.....
