Your nuanced eye for color is just stellar and you're really able to communicate it so so well. Can't even state how much I appreciate this!! I'm able to listen to podcasts/TH-cam all day at work and I've deffffinitely been binging your channel since discovering it and it is hands down light yesrs ahead with helpfulness and also taste and sophistication than any other channel I have found. I recently bought myself the Nars palette on your recommendation and you are spot on. It's a brilliant "I have no creativity or energy today, just give me an easy option to throw on" palette and given how often that's my situation in the morning, this has quickly earned a place in my vital basics basket. The fact that it's got some pretty and fun sparkles is ideal because it helps me feela bit less like I've tapped out on my look. 😆
I think one of the things I have come to really appreciate and respect about Rare Beauty, to your point, is that by and large, most of their products are extremely well-thought out and researched. Maybe with the exception of their eyeshadows. But what I'm saying is that I don't feel like they're trying to swindle me and steal my money with crap products.
I started listening to the Maintenance Phase podcast from your recommendation and I really needed it. I’m a girl who’s been fat all her life, even as a hs athlete (I’m 25 now), and my recent weight gain during the pandemic has really shot my self esteem. I want to make 2023 the year that I love myself, and that podcast has started that journey for me. I appreciate you so much.

My old lady dry skin really likes the Iconic London Skin Tint. Even without a primer. For me, it's definitely a keeper. And surprisingly, it's affordable.

I agree about the Patrick Ta Rose palette! I love the colors and I end up with nice looks, but the shimmers are hard to work with. They stick to my finger or my brush and I can’t actually get the shimmer on my eyelids! I have to really build it up and dig into the shimmer shades to make them work
The loose setting powder - this happened to me too. I had to play the medication bottle game and press down while turning the opposite direction of opening it.... I reacted the EXACT same way you did for about 30min. lol
I was thinking of that ‘wisteria’ color in the Anastasia palette, and hindash has a beautiful tutorial on how to use lavender and bronze together that I know would look lovely on you too!

A few other people have had the same issue with the powder. Their lid is stuck like that as well and they have never gotten it back open lol.

That Anastasia pallet may be better for green or hazel eyes than for brown eyes like yours. That Wisteria shade could work to pop that green iris when used sparingly along the upper lash line.

I was surprised to not see Chantecaille Future Skin in your favorites, or second favorites. I got it a while because you really loved it.
I was so tempted by almost all of the eyeshadow palettes you talked about at some point in the year. Unfortunately any and all warm toned eyeshadows turn orange on me, so I dodged a bullet. AND I had forgotten about all of them until you reminded me here 😂

I had the same issue with the Givency Prisma Libre powder, the lid gets stuck if it is not threaded properly. Really Givency? For that price? Now I’m very careful when screwing the lid back on. But I absolutely LOVE that powder, it made me a believer in powder.
How do I get it back off 😩

I LOVE Kansas Revealer Foundation🥰 I only buy it on sale tho 🤭
I would love to see more videos with the isamaya palette because I have it and I'm just not sure what to do with it. All the reviews use the blacks and I'm just waaay too pale to do that. The same thing happened to my saie powder. You need to use one of those rubber jar openers to force the lid back open. Or just someone really strong. You can still buy the chantecaille cheek shade in ray at the chantecaille website and on space nk. I bought it after hearing you rave about a million times and I love it!

Same thing for me with that Givenchy powder. So annoying! For me, on the *several* occasions the lid got stuck, I took my palm or fist and gave a hard slam to the top of the lid. It levels out the lid then you can twist it again. If anything needs a self-leveling property, it’s this stupid packaging! 😂 Love all your videos Kackie-thanks for all you do!

I personally had that happen, and I went as if I was going to open it, the lid came off and I tried again, and it was all fine.

Asking because I'm curious: I wasn't expecting to see the MAC Face + Body in your Best of the Best, but thought mmmmmaybe it would be here. Why didn't it make the cut? Is there a different long[ish]-wearing skin tint/light foundation you thought was better?

(Talk about irony: I work in the art/beauty industry, and I have only the most casual of relationships with beauty products. You are literally the only beauty TH-camr to whom I pay attention. So, thank you.)
If long wearing is what you're after you might like the Fenty eaze drop. I have super oily skin and it's one of the few that my skin doesn't eat. I've seen other TH-camrs praise it for being long wearing too. I think Samantha March said she did hot yoga with it on and it looked perfect after 😂

I tolerate the scent of Lorna Dune because it is my unicorn nude. I did try a similar lippie from MUFE that I had to return. It literally filled my mouth with the horrid scent. Just no!!

You lost me at the TF foundation stick😭 if we’re paying $90 for a foundation and it can only be limitedly used as a concealer …why not buy a true concealer and use the remaining funds towards a wonderful foundation that performs as a foundation. There’s so many luxury foundations that perform, don’t waste your hard earned dollar on one that doesn’t do what it’s designed to do
I'm afraid you might've misunderstood. Sure, I don't think anyone should buy a $90 foundation stick to use as a concealer, but I bought too light a shade. That's on me. My job is to review makeup, and it's a good foundation.

Also I don't know if this is the only video of her you have watched but she has had some drugstore items she liked a lot this year. Another thing is she isn't like many reviewers who always give glowing reviews and tell you to buy everything.
