love your dads advice about fighting parents. I go through it even at an older age and he's right it's hard to not let it bother you since there's a lot of negativity. But it's a huge wake up call to let yourself not follow in your parents footsteps. Love his advice thank you! 😊

"He's a rescue so he has a lot of issues" ☹️ that made me so sad that you said that, please don't give rescues a bad rep! 🐶
Unfortunately it's true 90% of the time due to abandonment issues. Everyone in my life (family and friends) that has a rescue, has issues :( Not saying those animals don't deserve a home. It's just the truth of the matter is all.
Alex and Dan I'm sad that's what you've seen since my and my friend's/family's experiences have been so positive. We recently rescued a stray who we're thinking about getting certified as a therapy dog! I guess I'm just tired of hearing people say, "I won't rescue because the dogs come with so much baggage" when there's such a wide variety of dogs out there so yes, some will need more patience than others but it's so rewarding! And I think people don't realize the issues dogs from breeders/puppy mills can have to (blindness, deafness, heart defects, hip issues). Anyways, not trying to get into a big discussion about this, it just aches my heart to hear a dog's issues is blamed on that he's a rescue versus just simply saying "he has issues" since dogs from all backgrounds can have issues but rescues already have such an unfair stigma 🐾❤️

I'm in need of your dads advice! (and of course yours is you have any)! What do I do if my best friend of 8 years is dating the guy that I've liked for the past 2 years? She posts about him all the time and in my point of view I feel like she's trying to make me jealous but I know she'll never do that. Me and him are good friends but it's just hard seeing him with my best friend.

I just discovered this recently but the reason why dogs sit in your lap is a way of showing they’re the dominant ones, same as when they put their paw on top of your feet. You should maybe try not letting her do that much so boo understands that’s not the dominant.
