I will be attending the Behind the Tears thing. I think it’s one of the ones in April, unsure though. I’ll have to ask my dad since he bought the tickets. You guys were amazing at the Emo Orchestra (the Kentucky one), which was the very first concert I ever went to. I got to play rock-paper-scissors with JT on that one. Best day of my life. (or rather, the best Day in the Life. Hehe.) You’re amazing, guys. Thank you.
An update on my last comment, I did attend! The April 29th one. I played rock-paper-scissors with JT again, and WON with the same move I did last time 😭. I also drew something for JT, making him a copy that said “Hawthorne Heights rocks!!!” in a spot where there was a blank space in the original. I had him sign the one with the blank space and I gave him the one that said “Hawthorne Heights rocks!!!”, and he, I guess, adored it so much that he gave me a guitar pick he used for the show that night, SIGNED. I about fainted. I also had him sign a handkerchief, and had the whole band sign some vintage Hawthorne Heights themed Valentines cards. What a time to be alive. I love you so much, Hawthorne Heights.
Funny story, these guys came to town (Twin Cities) with Silverstein a while back. It was an "unplanned" extension of their original tour so I guess Hawthorne didn't have their merch guys anymore. I unknowingly bought a few shirts from the lead singer! My shirt did say "I used to listen to HH in HS" so its been a little while and kind of telling lol
