It's not patched, but it just needs to be updated. Smh. However for me, it automatically opens it as a notepad thumbnail and doesn't load into GTA despite being in the same folder. I also can't rename it or put it on my desktop when I initially download it. I have to put it somewhere else, rename it there, move it to GTA folder.
is this method still working for you after the update? i had to go redownload the dll because it was removed from the gta folder and even tho i downloaded the exact same dll from the website you linked it had a different name slightly but i know 100% its the same download. It was titled version.vmp_[unknowncheats.me]_.dll. i remembered in this video you'd said to change the title of it to version.dll so on the off chance that was for a reason i also named this file the same. to no avail. after loading in to gta an realizing it wasn't working anymore i left and checked the gta file and it was gone. i had turned off my antivirus and excluded the file but it was still removed. even whenever i finally got it to stay it still wasn't working like before.

i would of suggested to right click it, properties, then make it read only, the game wouldn't be able to delete it after any update
