Great video. No wasted time, showed the effect of the work. Many thanks. (Looks like my Hunter sprinkler. Guessing the breakdown is similar.)

I'm glad the sprinklers debris level was "really bad". Thanks for the video!

great way to fix. but what if my sprinklers are underground? removing the caps to wash it out will put dirt in the line. think it's good if I blow it out?

Great video, helped me fix my sprinkler system and I'm not particularly handy.

I can only screw some of the way...can’t get the top to come off. I’m wondering if it might be stripped out.

What about cleaning the nozzle itself? I cannot get these unclogged. Rainbird says no wires or brushes are to be used - are these ruined when clogged with fine particles?

I have a dumb question . why are we screening the water before watering the grass? why not let the debris shoot out the hole? You're going to have to clean something if it gets clogged so why not just take your fingernail to the tip of the sprinkler and move it back and forth through the slat instead of having to take it apart. clean the screen, put the screen back and then wash the tip too. probably maybe. idk call me stupid , But I always just take the screen out because they're annoying. I don't get clogged sprinklers once I've done this.. lol And if I do it's just the tip because of the weed eater. I don't tend to have dirt coming through my lines. just wondering why every manufacturer waste the cost for a screen? 😳 personally, the only time I've had a clogged sprinkler when I've first replaced it. then I remove the screen and I'm done.. haha true story .

      Yeah that's stupid.
I just wonder is it doesn't wear off the seal faster cuz they are first to replace but it shouldn't maybe even reduces wear cuz gunk gets out of the body.

The filter also acts as a flow limiter. The small screw on top can be screwed down into the top of the filter to reduce the water flow so it doesn’t spray as far.
