You should do a review of a few lesser known mods, I would suggest mining lanturn and Creatures and beasts (which is only a preview atm but the models look cool)
an alternative to jurassicraft would be fossils and archeology, its pretty much the same thing buut with more creatures and scientific accuracy for the dinos
Fossils and archeology is also way more simple than jurrasicraft, you just dig up a generic fossil, get some DNA and put it in a culture vat. That could either be a pro or a con depending on what you want in a dinosaur mod, but I like the more straight forward approach

I went into the config files and spent about eight years readjusting every mob spawn by hand, but then I noticed everything else was drowning out the spawns of the ZAWA mobs, and at that point I just got angry and gave up, I had the same problem with primitive mobs, except *way* worse. Both great mods, but they seriously need to curb their spawning problems
Why don’t mod makers make a mob head move when turning and then turn their body when moving, and in sections when it’s something like a snake or eel or lamprey?

It says that with almost everything Java related. The computer warns ytou that it *may* harm it because Java is risky at times, but if you got it from a trustworthy Website, then it should be fine rlly
Just try to only install from curseforge and very rarely from GitHub, ONLY if it's heavily rated. Or finnaly from the mod creator's own website, but make sure it's the original site.

Ice and fire isn't overrated. It adds more than just dragons. It also adds sea serpents, sirens, gorgons, death worms, hippogriffs, hippocampus and many more but wyrmroost only adds dragons
why would you show old mods and this is 2020? show mobs that are actually up to date with the game/s version :/, waste of time, I dont want old mobs, was expecting mods for 1.15 :/
Some mods in this pack are still being updated, 1.12 is just good version for mods but since the 1.15 version shows better performance many mods recently decided to leave 1.12 and move to 1.15 soon

Another really great mod is Fish's Undead Rising. For 1.14 Rotten Creatures adds a lot of awesome zombie variants.

You should go to the mod options and configure the mod because sometimes the default settings replaces the other mods.
Are you using animania? That replaces the vanilla mobs.
