I'm not sure why everyone feels you have to study Thoth in depth...I use it like I would any other deck. I don't think Spirit is like "Oh, they pulled out the Thoth tarot....everything's changed now." It just adds another layer of meaning to pull from. Sometimes I'm reading from a RWS clone & I get a more Thothy type of meaning & vice versa. I love to learn new meanings & systems but ultimately I read intuitively & I think the Thoth is perfect for that. Aleister Crowley's meanings for the court cards are far too negative for me...I take what makes sense to me & throw the rest out the window. Lady Frieda's art though...oh yeah! The Queen of Disks is my favorite!

Somnia Tarot or Dust 2 Onyx would be espresso for me. Other than that the only drink here I can relate to is latte, which I guess would be the Lily White/Lily Black. Also to me hot chocolate would be something sweet, so I suppose that could be Nicoletta Cecolli (hot chocolate with an attitude?). Thanks for your takes on this.

They really are. This is my go-to drink if I'm trying out a place for the first time. It's a great baseline drink that allows me to get a feel for how they approach espresso.

Sure its definitely different for everyone i have four children so the difference between child and teenager with 7 years between and then 5 years between also 1 year apart makes it more marked in my mind you did make a apt chose I was responding to the description and seeing my children. I agree! It helps to know the differences because it expands how I intpret tarot, it doesn't completely changing how I read it

A cortado is equal parts espresso and steamed milk. Strong but not harsh. Balanced, if you will. 🙂 (and sooooooo good!)
