I recommend using Schwalbe tire levers while lisntalling tanuss. it will be plug and play. ideally have the tire at room temperature, a little detergent and it will work. if I was able to put on the tire lever, anyone can do it.
LOL! I like having an insert because I continue to make bad line choices...or maybe I'm just too chicken to not case nearly every jump I do. If you're Captain, I'm Admiral Line Choice!
This is getting out of hand quickly! Captain Bad Line Choice with Admiral Bumpy Rides all aboard the Beat up Bikes bandwagon!!! haha Thanks for checking it out :) BTW, new DD Tire with insert has yet to pinch flat.
haha 'proven' is a tough statement but effective yes! I haven't tried them in the front yet... my little legs need to get stronger before I add more rotational weight
I've pinched 2 near new DD Maxxis tires, even using a Tannus insert. Both times, right where the bead meets the rim (Roval Traverse SL). I weigh 165 in the nude, 26psi in the rear. Doesn't seem to be working for me, guess I'll try DH casing but seems pretty overkill
Good to know the warm-up helped with installation! When/where did you apply the soapy water during install? Can that compromise the integrity of tubeless sealant?
Yeah, the warmup helped a ton. I could tell it was just more compliant overall. With regards to the soapy water, I was thinking the same thing, too much might not be a good thing. So I put it on a rag and wiped it on rather than just spraying it with a spray bottle. Seemed to work well and seated easy. Lots of people seem to use the soap trick.
Hey, sucks to see that. I never have pinch flat on my tannus. Perhaps you need bit more psi on the rear. Sad to say tannus is not as bombproof like cush core since it's lighter. I do read rimpact pro have better results while still being light but there's always pro and con to everything.
Ah, I tried w/out the insert where I got the pinch flat. Running about 30 psi, but, between the insert and double down I now have a pretty dang solid rear tire combo. Heavy, but working well :) I've never heard of Rimpact but looking at them they look like a good option!
28psi on conti enduro casing tires. Hasn’t failed me for a while! That and I think my suspension tune and riding style have improved. Not sure but I’m on the zero insert train now
I see you.... I love that you stopped to give the pup a nice soft bed to hang out next to you!
Hazel the gnar dog making an appearance!

Definitely helps to warm up your tire and use soap. Use a heat gun or hair dryer if it's January and that is all you have.
Yeah, lesson learned. Let it sit in the house for a bit. Being cold just sucks in general haha. Appreciate you checking it out though!

Tire inserts have been proven! Welcomed upgrade for any level of rider. Ride more, worry less!

Without the insert you probably need more or normal psi

you're doing it completely wrong, tannus armour are designed to use with tubes, not tubeless sealant
You may want to check out the different insert options they offer. 100% sure this is a tubeless version
