Please stop comparing the show to Game of Thrones. It really it should be looked at as its own thing.. these books been around for a looong time and high fantasy is a vast genre

@@FlipYourWig The WOT books came out before Game of Thrones, and is considered the bridge between classical and modern fantasy literature. So for book fans it feels weird to compare it to Game of Thrones. LOTR however makes a lot of sense since Robert Jordan was a huge fan, and Eye of the World was meant to have many classical fantasy tropes popularized by Tolkien, before Robert Jordan subverted those tropes in his own series. So again, that bridge between eras of literature within the genre.
I feel sad that wheel of time book fans are so cynical watching only 3 episodes. They have made imdb rating to 7.4. Even shadow and bones had good rating at start of season. Why book fans are being soo brutal. This exact same thing is going to happen with lotr prequel series.
@@omkargurav8992 That comparison doesn’t really make sense. Shadow and Bone premiered with the entire season so people could binge it all at once, so they got the whole picture right away. WOT has only 3 episodes out. And besides, 7.4 is hardly a bad rating. That’s super solid. And from what I have seen they aren’t cynical, just constructively critical. They want to be honest, so that improvements and evolution can take place as the show continues.
