@@TUFFGUNN your claim on the wooden stick dance (I think you are referring to Tinkling) and adobo is incorrect. Adobo was present before the Spanish annexation and Tinikling does also have pre-Colonial origins as there is the Singkil which depicts the Darangen epic of Indian origins, it uses also bamboo sticks for dancing, but Tinikling got Spanish influences as it uses Rondalla music.
