    Dang! It started at the station and I was like okay this looks nice. Then it went into the big tunnel and I thought, "Ooooh noooo." Then it does the launch and that INSANE stall near the end. OMG this ride is crazy. Awesome.

      +One Track Mind You know if you really think about it, it is actually kinda nice having a "raw" coaster for a change. I actually liked this version better cause it is easier to put your own music behind it but the coaster itself was amazing smooth, really fast (creeping up on the top speed of a later model Ford Mustang Mach 1 at 157 MPH and the car tops off at 160 MPH) and some massive inversions to boot and there are 6 in total from what I counted maybe add in that as well. Now about that massive 16+ inversion coaster I pitched to you, how is that coming along?

    • @jordanb7624
      @jordanb7624  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alec Day I have a few ideas which I could incorporate your suggestion into. My next coaster will be called Limbo. It's safe to say that it will be my least realistic but most surreal. The works of Stanley Kubrick are my inspiration.

    • @alecday3775
      @alecday3775 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +One Track Mind maybe you could have a drop to launch that is 1000 feet tall and the launch would carry the train up to 220 MPH and then a second launch later on in the coastcould carry the train all the way up to a massive 340 MPH into what would be the tallest vertical loop ever with the loop standing at 2000 feet. and i thought a Sonic theme would havalso been cool like you could have put 3D models of Sonic and Tails at the 2 sides of the train making sure riders are locked down tight, knucles at the controls, incorporate some of the Badniks in sections of the coaster and also Eggman and some of the other characters as well like Cream and Amy as well and maybe incorporate some of the different zones in the coaster as well. but the dark theme would be cool as well. Also, the most inversions i seen is 22 on an NL coaster mybe you coudl try and put at least 30 or more on yours. The sonic theme is a secondary themeand would be really cool if you could actually incorprate some of the different zones from the series if the limbo idea kinda falls apart on you. i havent seen a massive somic themed NL coaster yet and i was just throwing it out there for you.

    • @jordanb7624
      @jordanb7624  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alec Day That's a really interesting idea and it sounds like you've put a lot of thought into it. I could certainly do the maximum height and maximum speed concept, but I don't want to break records just for the sake of breaking records. As far as the Sonic theming, I have absolutely no idea how to create or use custom scenery objects. I make what I can without that skill set. Since it sounds like you have a vivid idea of what this coaster should be, maybe you should be the one to make it.

    • @jordanb7624
      @jordanb7624  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +SKY615 I don't build bigger for the sake of size. All of my coasters come from an inspired idea. I choose the size based on the scale that would best cinematic viewing experience and would result in a speed that matches the pace of the music that gave me the inspiration.

  • @nathanlamoreaux1272
    @nathanlamoreaux1272 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Bravo! What a fantastic coaster. The funny part is that this coaster is completely realistic in terms of transitions and g-forces (or at least it appears to be), the issue would be the trains going that fast for that long and completely tearing up and setting the wheels on fire essentially. Seriously, what is the top speed of this coaster? 200 M.P.H.?

    • @KingdaToro
      @KingdaToro 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It needs some MCBRs too. As it is now, the capacity is atrocious. With one train and a cycle time of 3:50, assuming a load/unload time of one minute, that's 12.4 dispatches per hour. The train seats 32, so that works out to about 400 guests per hour. Most flat rides do better than that, and the highest capacity coasters get over 1600. If the package wasn't encrypted, I could work on it... modify the existing launches/brake runs to function as block brakes, and add more trains.

    • @jordanb7624
      @jordanb7624  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Joey Simon Good question! I don't remember and I don't feel like recording them right now. I do remember that I aimed for zero G floater time wherever I could get it. Other than that, the forces get pretty high but never exceed 4.5

      +One Track Mind It is truly breathtaking in VR, amazing work I would love to try some others. It doesn't run so well on my 980ti , but that's no fault of your own. NL2 runs crappy in VR no matter what hardware you have, it has something do with some assets just not playing well in VR. :)

      +Kyle Gardner I've actually thought about a coaster I could put to that piece. It would probably be an excessively tall Larson Loop concept but it probably won't be anytime soon. My next five coasters are already lined up and in production.

      To be honest, I would have start it and experiment with it and decide from there.

      +Theme Park Attraction I like to believe that I've created the world's first Trillion dollar roller coaster. There's the construction, an excessive amount of insurance, the wildlife relocation, the allocation of electricity to such a remote location, and of course the lobbying which would go into convincing the National Park Service to allow such an endeavor. I'm actually majoring in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism. There are some professors of mine who would kill me if they saw this. Luckily, I have zero intention of ever creating this in real life. That would be one hell of a Kickstarter campaign.

      +One Track Mind yep, just label it 'the grand potato salad coaster' and so many dumb people will fall for it ;P
      rewards include:
      $1 thanks, you get nothing
      $100 a picture of the potato salad coaster
      $1000 a bolt from the coaster
      $10000 a bolt and patch of dirt from it
      $10000000 a 1 foot piece of track
      $1000000000a ride in the coaster(travel expenses not included)
      $1000000000000000 throw the switch at the opening

      +movieboysHD That title is already taken by a number of small generic coasters IRL. I wanted a title that captured a grandiose sense of epic surrounding. I like my titles to be relevant and original. Also I consider this more of a valley than a canyon. I have canyon planned.

    Syncing an orchestral piece with a roller coaster was a bold move and you didn't do it, not even close. "Perfectly" was a serious over-statement even for a personal, bias, suggestion. It took up to the first launch for me to see any sign of synchronisation, that's 70 seconds too long.
