The "Tom, I´ll need a ride home" is seriously one of the funniest lines in any movie - period. It´s so out of left field and so underrated and it goes by so quickly so you gotta pay attention otherwise you´ll miss it. The whole movie is just so damn good as well, ah the nostalgia!
I can't watch Signs anymore without thinking about this line, and I start crackin' up!😅

It’s truly a movie era gone by. Just joke after joke and visual slapstick gags crammed into every line. It doesn’t get made anymore and it’s just such a fun time watching these movies.
Realistically these movies got panned the longer they went on. A big reason why no one loves the 5th one.
Underrated joke is how George gets up instantly after being thrown

Brenda is the best part of this whole franchise.
Also, the sheriff's hat slowly getting bigger will always be my favorite visual gag from this entire series. It's so dumb, yet subtle and never addressed.

Actually its subtly addressed of sorts. Look at the scene of Tom before the "hat is bigger" scene. He's doing a "what the f" via facial expression.
I still laugh EVERY time I hear her say that line....

My favorite joke from the series is probably "YAHTZEE" but yeah I love the hat thing as well

the part where Leslie Nielsen comes into the basement after they've defeated the girl and says "good luck, we're all counting on you" is a reference to Airplane.
The part where Leslie Nelson opens the door and knocks sadako down the well is a homage to airplane. He says the same thing to Hays as the plane is landing.

Scary Movie 4 is definitely worth a watch. It's not as good as the previous films but has some brilliant moments like the intro with Shaq and Dr.Phil. Avoid 5 at all cost though.

Easily my favorite of the Scary Movie series - which is probably due to it being by David Zucker, one of the creators of Airplane and The Naked Gun. So much fun.
My god I can't believe this movie is now 20 years ago, I remember watching it in theaters when I was 9 years old with my brothers, cousins and my mom. Damn time flies by.

This one is actually my 2nd favorite in the series behind the 1st Scary Movie. This film gets a lot of mixed reactions, fans either love it or hate it because its the 1st film without the Wayans and it's pg-13. But honestly, I still think it's hysterical.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil. This is a perfect movie for you two!
My favorite one out of all of them. Too good. Brenda carried the franchise and Anthony and Kevin were as amazing as the Waynes brothers

George (played by Simon Rex) actually made a few songs under the stage name Dirt Nasty. Most people don’t know that but if you’ve seen Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay and remember the song My Dick by Mickey Avalon, he was on that song. Everybody got 4 bars a piece and he was the third voice you’d hear

3 of my favorite jokes that you guys skipped over...
1 - as "amazing grace" is playing right before brenda's funeral, there's a sign that says "Room for Rent" which i find hilarious
2 - when the president runs over and kills the aliens, and gives them $40 to avoid talking insurance
3 - When Cindy is fighting for the teleprompter, the tv anchor is reading gibberish, and the janitor types his message.
This is my favorite comedy movie, pure gold.
The Airplane reference at the end when Nielsen comes in and says “were all counting on you” plus with him referencing Air Force One with President Ford 😂 I love this movie.
People hate on 3 and 4 but theyre my faves. The humor is much more in line with Airplane. By comparison, 1 and 2's humor is lower hanging fruit tho funny

13:40 My favorite little piece of movie trivia is the thing they do here. The stuntman goes flying out the window and lands out of frame, where George immediately stands up to continue the scene. It's called The Texas Switch, and I think it was used to its funniest extent in this movie.
By the by, the guy who plays George (Simon Rex) has a rap career under the name Dirt Nasty. Some seriously funny shit, check him out.
Second by the by, if you haven't seen Pootie Tang, you should. I don't think I've seen anyone react to it, I don't think it was very popular when it released. But it is both funny and dumb, and you'd probably have a good time.
Also, I think it was a big missed opportunity to have James Woods return as Father McFeely from the opening of the last movie to babysit Cody.
