I'm impressed to know that you have already walked so far and can still show on screen positivity. Do you ever have down days, and if so, do you have any special techniques or routines to get you out of them? I liked the cows sneaking up on your tripod, that looked amusing.
The cows were very funny. glad I caught them on Camera! The next video highlights me not enjoying the section of trail but mostly I try to stay positive and probably the Aussie ‘She’ll be right’ attitude comes out too. also podcasts and Audio books help me not ruminate on things but get immersed in the story being told while on trail.
Thanks so much! I really want to go back at some point and hike the Tetons. they look stunning. The trail gets so close, but doesn’t actually go to them.
Beautiful section, but it did look like a lot of elevation changes! You’re so strong! Do you know the name or map number for the Ley alternate you took? It looked beautiful, and I think I’d like to try it next year when I tackle the CDT.
Loving these longer videos 👌🏼
Another great video - looks like you have these mountains mostly to yourself (and cows)!

Gorgeous scenery, especially of the Tetons! Sorry you got rained on. I can’t believe what a great job you are doing on your hike! Keep heading north!!

I really enjoyed seeing the alternate scenery. You do a wonderful job of filming
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
The cows were great. I hope you cross paths with your hiking friends again soon! The human ones 😂
So you got the new battery and you got your mojo back. I’m looking forward to the new sunnies when you hit Butte😂 Happy Trails.
Thanks. The sunnies are coming in the mail. Hopefully they will be at the next town 😎
Awww…I would have loved to walk with you.

Maps 62/63 in Ley set 9. Southern Montana I think. it is the Nicholai /Deadman Alt and Bannock Pass. Enjoy, it was such a beautiful alternate.
Thank you very much!
