Thanks for your positive feedback ....Yes you're right!....I've got quite many questions on why PKC was multiplied by 44. I had to rewatch the entire video before realising my mistake there. The 44 was rather for Soyabean (another protein ingredient). However, I hope the concept & formula is clear enough. Thanks.
Hello, will it be good for the pigs if I will mix hammered corn and fish meal from the discards of fish market? Can it be enough for thw growth of my pigs?
I think there’s no harm in giving them that every now and then but that shouldn’t be on a consistent basis…a bit more investment in proper feed would serve you better in the long run

There are divided opinions on the use of the PKC in pig feed. However, we have not encountered any such complications since our pigs are yet to give birth. And although we use it on our farm, it is always in smaller quantities just to supplement our main protein ingredient(concentrates). We will update you in the future if we experience any adverse effect from its use. Thanks for your time here :)
Yes you can. PKC has a crude protein content of 14 - 18% and works great as protein supplement in your feed. At Dem Farms, we don’t advise for PKC to be fed to piglets though.
You're right!...we've tried quite a number of different formulae and this one with the "broiler concentrate' has proven to be the best for us. I guess you could make adjustments to know for what sure what works better in your case :)
The Broiler Starter feed has a higher crude protein content, which makes it suitable for our feed mix, but the choice depends on preference. Koudijs Pig Concentrate is also a solid option.
This video makes me appreciate farming even more

Thank you very much for your reply.
Very educating, I'm impressed.
Bro I just say you’re the best. Your understanding is on point. The factor you multiplied the PKC was supposed to be 16.63 to get the crude protein.

You can get it in most animal feed shops around you
The Maize that you are using, Is it whole Maize or bran
We used the actual maize here not the bran
I see you use Koudijs Broiler Concentrate in your feeds, why this and not pig concentrate

Thanks for the information. May God bless you. But then, what ingredient am i going to alter the kg in order to produce grower feed? Thank you
Each ingredient in the feed has its own protein content, so you can adjust each one of them to achieve your desired crude protein percentage.
I think this feed formular is for weaners , can i get that of growers n finishers?
i notice you use koudijis broiler concentrate any reason but not that of pigs
