Wow, just wow. You do excellent work and have created many one of a kind, outstanding custom figs, but I think this is my favorite. Just the head sculpt/paint alone. To those of us who grew up in the 70's Lynda is the OG Wonder Woman and for me she IS Wonder Woman. I'm guessing many people felt the same way since many were begging Todd to make this version. Wow man, that really looks like Lynda.
Great custom. Even as a McFarlane detractor, I love this figure and what you’ve done, there’s just not much in terms of a traditional Wonder Woman much less a Lynda Carter Wonder Woman, we’ve had plenty of Christopher Reeves Superman figures and just as many Michael Keaton Batman figures, but if you’re going to complete the DC Trinity, you have to have a Lynda Carter Wonder Woman.
excellent work, that cape is too beautiful! I just got the chase version, not a big fan of it cause I prefer the chrome look on the standard version. gonna use your video as a guide to repaint my WW back to the chrome look. thanks for this tutorial 💪🏻
Thanks for watching, glad to share Figures are made from several elements aa shown in the video- each is its own unique piece. i. Currently have other projects before a Christopher Reeves . .. hopefully soon
Fantastic job dude. It's like you took a complete odyssey into the realm of obsession Definitely would pay for one of your fanfuckingtastic pieces!❤😂⭐🤩
The masking tape issue i know quite well...i tried a trick a friend of mine told me. before you apply it to the surface you want to mask, stick it to your t shirt first...for me it worked, yet i didn't use any vinyl applications. Also...here i am with the platinum version without any silver, gold or shiny red, because i couldn't find the one i wanted, watching you as you get rid of the gold and the shiny red...and i just went full Darth Vader "NOOOOOOOOOO" lol. Still, great work.
@@InkDropCustoms yeah, some brands of masking tape work so well, they almost pull the paint job off the surface again lol. The WW figures were sold so fast i was lucky to even find one, so i guess i will just have to customize it to give it some shiny red lol.
I don't have her and I had the chase version in my basket last week at bbts but I was on the wrong device that didn't have my bank card linked to it ( yeeow! ) By the time I got to the device it was sold with info it sold out! Anyways hopefully they return or we find them in store✨✨✨
@@InkDropCustoms I rarely collect McFarlane but Some of is stuff is boss especially this one! I hope to get eventually. I did manage to get the poison ivy figure and also the back and grey hush bats! Stuff Toddie has been putting out lately has made me pause some on my marvel legends collection..... Some!✨
@jigsawnora3207 I’ve been selective….. with ML i miss out on the presale… i just dropped it like rock… eventually I’ll drop the McFarlane stuff…getting too expensive and too many releases at one time
The double point for the back of the boot is not a traditional Wonder Woman, but the boot did have that design in the storyline that the action figure is based on the who is wonder woman Terry Dodson design for the armor had the boots poking up like that, and it's also why the boots. Have what looks like a more utilitarian sneaker tread, because that was part of his design as well. So that's not a McFarlane decision. That's him just trying to follow the source material. It's one of the only times that he's actually tried to follow the source material.
Uff son muchos pasos… Pinte los calzoncillos de azul claro con Premium Vallejo- acrílico Recorte las estrellas con una máquina Cricut… Hice la capa con cinta para tela - se plancha y tiene doble pegadura
Not using expensive paint (pens) is part of your problem IMO.... > When painting small appliques and what not on small models & 1/12th figures; all the back & forth taping becomes problematic in multiple ways (plus your "trunks" stars are all unpeeling). Thus, try NOT using as much Sprayed paint period. In favor of direct more costly acrylic paint pens (i.e. _Posca_ & ONE 4 ALL etc.) -- which goes along way when painting small plastics.... There's no bleed through (which occasionally can be beneficial). Plus its much more time efficient. And there's way less touch up work required. And said touch up work is also easier to do. *Cause up close & in-hand,* figures that have been predominantly sprayed- more times than not reveal their unwanted smears, drips and drops. Anyways, Thanks for showing us your process! Your _77" Linda Carter WW_ figure looks alot better than mine. Still sitting here in the box. The baby blue "trunks" and yellow chest crest updates- look like far better choices than what McFarlane did.
for me the Linda Carter head sculpt makes all the difference. The head that she comes with is a bit off.. a bit piggy nosed I feel. Which isn't the wonder woman look for me.
Lynda Carter will forever be my definitive Wonder Woman. Great job painting the head sculpt. I love it!!

Masking tape works great….. there are many different techniques… you just need to see one all the way through… i have another WW … love the shiny red

@@RandomDudeDrawz drafting tape is low tack.. works good on smooth surfaces not texture… i use liquid mask but it can be tricky at times
@@InkDropCustoms never tried liquid mask, but i used soap to immitate a cracked paintjob on props which i wanted to look old and rusty.
@RandomDudeDrawz excellent technique!
I use vault customs. For my pre-painted sculpts.
Nice’
I have only purchased 2 painted sculpts in the past… gets expensive real fast but a good time saver
Great work! Has anyone made an articulated lasso for this scale?
I used gold wire… but you need to make 4 different lasso - depending on your desired look…

I thought that was just me on my end.

Would you sell me a cape?
I can…. These are very difficult to make…non.-Wired is $35 wired is $50
I can’t get to it until June… this month is all Batman capes… im off in May
looks like crap sorry but it needs work bro me I like being straight forward and honest

Please, how did you change original feet for high heels?
I used jokers feet from TDKR … had to repaint them
