Since we have had a director of football we have gone down hill. What exactly does he do? He did no good at Cambridge as far as i can tell, and now we are in this terrible state. It really seams we will be going down. The Barnsley match was the worst game of football i have ever paid to see. It cannot possibly get any worse. Can it?
Unfortunately, Hurst is the player motivator, but I dont think he realises that - strange. At the very start i wrote to Shrewsbury and said we dont need a director of football, we’re not AC Milan or Juventus, but such is their arrogance, there was no reply. It suits STFC to be relegated,.Why? Because of parachute payments, a lower wage bill, but with tge same crowd numbers. This is the formula to keep people like Moore and co on the payroll….
I am feeling very disappointed by today's non performance from the whole team ; poor starting eleven chosen by the gaffer, players well off the pace and not playing with any confidence! A team needs direction from the gaffer, and I am afraid they don't seem to be getting this from all the coaching staff at the moment... I would like to know what they are doing in training, there is something wrong somewhere! I don't want to say this, but, I think we need a change of management NOW, because we are going nowhere at the moment...
He’s not the same manager as he was 6/7 years ago, maybe the sporting director is the problem and stopping him from being the manager he was when last time here. There seems to be a 😂lack of leadership on the pitch. Who knows if the way of the club from top to bottom is right, it seems most of the problems arise from the appointment of Micky Moore. I also think that trying to play out from the back is a massive mistake we ain’t a premier league club and clearing the danger is a must not tippy tapping doesn’t work work giving goals away gives us no chance the big heave ho down the pitch puts the opposition under pressure, as they say the goal is at the other end of the pitch.
The writing is well and truly on the wall. What a dire season this is turning out to be.
