Happy birthday to Trevor!!!! PS: I agree with Thomas that it would have been cool to hear you guys playing the original version by Busted that mentions "three-breasted women swimming around the city" 🤣
@@Gigi-bo3zr "Year 3000" is a song performed by British pop rock band Busted. It was released on 13 January 2003 as the second single from their debut studio album Busted (2002). The Jonas Brothers covered the song in 2006.
The Busted version is only the best known outside the US, cause it was never released over here, so most Americans only know the Jonas Brothers version, and First To Eleven are an American band.
@@Ramblinman26There’s literally an MTV Show where busted tried to break the U.S. by releasing this as a single in America long before Jonas Brothers even existed
@ZachT 😂 I agree. I think that it would have been really funny if they had stuck with the cover band theme and sang, "outsold Alex Melton" instead of Kelly Clarkson 😂, but I don't know if his fame is high enough to be known by First To Eleven fans. I am sure that @AlexMelton would have found it funny. He seems like the kind of guy who can take a joke on his self. I hope that he and First To Eleven collaborate on something in the future!
I came to say this. My boyfriend even messaged me going "I've never been so disappointed in First to Eleven". Changing a couple of words does not make a new song. It's all but identical to the original.
It has the Jonas Brothers lyrics "Since the song would be played on Radio Disney, all the sexually-suggestive lyrics were simplified - the line "and your great-great-great granddaughter is pretty fine" is changed to "doin' fine" and "Triple-breasted women swim around town, totally naked" is changed to "girls there, with round hair like Star Wars, float above the floor." Also, the line "Everybody bought our seventh album, it had outsold Michael Jackson" is changed to "it had outsold Kelly Clarkson"."
I can't figure out if who they incorrectly credit, is done on purpose or through oversight? 🤔 Maybe it's whover they drew inspiration from...or maybe it's cause they know it will create many comments..
Yeah... and they're covering the Jonas Brothers version. Trying to act like they don't know where the song originated from..... give them some respect.
@@FirstToEleven I understand that but musically the two are near identical, a fact JB have also stated before to the point they even did a version with Busted for Busted's Greatest Hits 2.0. Adding a quick "original by" in the description when 10 words were changed is not really a lot to ask or expect. I respect your music talents but I am disappointed by this given the similarities between the two versions.
👏👏👍👍that was such a nice one, LOVE IT!, and just perfectly done, like vocals instrumentals, mixing, everything. it's 100% as good as this song can get! both singers sound so good. 1:04 nice, i like they left it in there! yeah, overall just one of my all time favourite f211 covers. and happy birthday!🥳🥳🎂🎂
You guys are great and I love all your covers, especiallly the ones with Trevor. Happy Birthday and keep up the great work. I hope you come to Australia one day to tour!
So if @FirstToEleven said they have done the Jonas' version then why at 3:14 Trevor sings " your great granddaughter is PRETTY fine " , that " is prety fine" is only on the Busted original , the Jonas' ends with " is doing fine ". Great vocals on yhis F211 one by the way.
I love how even though they're super talented singers and musicians, the happy birthday song is just as wholesomely awkward and out of tune as the rest of us ❤
_Busted_ fans like me always getting hoed by _Year 3000_ but still an awesome cover! edit: Yes, I know they used the Jonas Brothers version, but the joke is that they are the same song with some censorship.
Very cool cover! We think your voices really harmonize very well together😍 BUT the original is by Busted. Shouldn't that be what it says? Okay, the german nerds are quiet again. It's definitely AWESOME -Phil
@whatdoyoumean1244 well I'd say some people of my generation are ok, but we got a lot of doofuses in this generation as well. However, I'd say that that's the case for every generation🤷♂️
I appreciate the warm good vibes Trevor brings, but he's no Matt. If his absence is bringing something positive, it is to value how his presence deserves, not only that of his guitar, but that of his person. Some fans recognized Ryan's leadership in this Band, many others adored Audra. Very few to Sam, which is a tremendous injustice. But if Matt's temporary break is making something very clear, it is that he has been, is and will be a fundamental impulse in the soul of First to Eleven.

Your cover of Year 3000 by Busted you mean... The Jonas Brothers only covered this song... the original is by Busted
Busted not Jonas brother..
The laugh at "cover bands" is everything haha
Happy Birthday Trevor!!
it made me giggle as well :)
Lack of shame is more
Jonas Brothers wish this was one of their songs! Busted!!!
This is by far the best cover of Busted's Year 3000! Congrats on such amazing birthday collab with Trevor!
They did the Jonas Brothers version
@@Gigi-bo3zr "Year 3000" is a song performed by British pop rock band Busted. It was released on 13 January 2003 as the second single from their debut studio album Busted (2002).

@MrSGChin The wording was the JB version and not Busted's.
She's got a killer set of pipes! Loving every second !
Busted would like a word!! Jonas Brothers covered yes, but Busted was and is the original and the best known
jonas brother version of the song is what we covered!
@@FirstToEleven yeah I realised after listening. How come you went for the JB one over Busted?
@@Jakko25 it's the most updated version

“Cover bands and another one and another and another” that was a good touch.

I don't know why they do this sometimes. In the Life is a Highway cover, they credited Rascal Flatts but not the original artist, Tom Cochrane.
I can't figure out if who they incorrectly credit, is done on purpose or through oversight? 🤔 Maybe it's whover they drew inspiration from...or maybe it's cause they know it will create many comments..
This is a song I hardly remember, but man is it fun. Trevor and Audra's vocals together are so damn good
I love the little laugh at the "cover bands" bit! ^w^
Happy birthday to my dear birthday twin, Trevor! You always pick such fun and amazing covers, I always look forward to them! 🤍
Thank you for keeping the Punk Rock legacy alive 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏🙏
This song has lived in my head for 21 years, idk why i needed this cover so bad 😂
Common guys think First to Eleven know its originally done by Busted! Plus listen to the lyric! 😂 Nice one guys!! They aint stupid! X
i wish you guys were more popular..such a feel good song~
Audra and Trevor's vocals are on point! Happy Birthday, Trevor 🎂
From bass to Guitar ,did not see that coming !! Great fun guys !!"
Busted original & covered by the JB but covered brilliantly by First To Eleven w/Talented Trevor
Busted or Jonas Brothers.. both were awesome playing this tune, and now you too guys!! So many memories from my childhood. Thanks for this one! 🤟🏼🤟🏼
Dude trevors voice is SO good omg! I loved it good work!❤
@1:04 sooo human, what a blast, leaving that in for some live vibes 🖤 . Long live this cover band 😇
Hate to break it to you, but The Jonas Brothers sang that as a cover song too. The original owners of that song are called Busted
They're singing the Jonas Brothers version, though. For example, the "Kelly Clarkson" lyric was "Micheal Jackson" in the original.

Please don't give Jonas Brothers credit for this masterpiece.

Not bad at all, the original version by Busted is the holy grail for this song.

Please give Busted the credit they deserve. Jonas Brother’s have made many good songs, but not this masterpiece.
