You did an excellent job of showing the city and many aging neighborhoods. I can only believe you didn't desire to show any of richer ones. It is true that metro areas are where newly arriving people will live.
About two hours from Chattanooga TN I sure miss living here. MM can you please do a tour down Wayside Rd for and thank you ahead of time. And thank you for the home town videos
Hi all is there a convenience store by the name of "7 Eleven" in Rome GA and if so can some one please be kind enough to give me the address to it please.
Jeez, every town in the U.S. is practically the same. No soul, no community, no identity. Just gaudy eye-sore adverts plastered on anything big enough to hold them and roads in worse shape than those in some third world countries I've been to.
Thank you!! I miss living in Rome, Ga . Good place to live, I can't wait to move back! Thanks again for the video!
Looks like a nice day in Rome GA
My family just moved here. Had a lovely visit earlier this month and can't wait to go back. Very pleasant!
This is where I grew up. So weird to see these areas - every one brings back memories! 😅
Ga is a beautiful state.
Another great video MM!
Thanks again!
So want to visit here someday!
Trust me you dont
Nice video Georgia Mike
Nice trip. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Calvin Harris is from Rome. We were in the Navy at Pearl Harbor in 75. Nice place
You should maybe go to Lagrange, Georgia if that's not too far out of the way
Rome to Lagrange is about 2 hours away
So what is it like to be an outsider looking into rome?
Does this mean you'll make a drive through of Thomasville Ga sometime?
Not yet. Eventually I'll get it whenever I finally make a trip down to Valdosta and Albany.

It is
@@Devonetavious07 And...Do you live there or around there? Was thinking of seeing for myself if it's decent for family.
I live there
Just to raise a family. After that GET OUT.
@@billybob042665 well I basically mean like low paying jobs and little opportunities there. It's a beautiful town tho
Wonder what it was like over 100 years ago, before all the MacDonalds etc on every corner, nook & cranny!
We lived there for 6 years
You going over too East Georgia
Yes
Where is it? Is it in Atlanta?
Northwest of Atlanta

@@michellejohnson9505 No, it's about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Rome to Chattanooga. Rome is about the same distance from Atlanta and Chattanooga.

Rome Georgia is ok
But MTG sucks!!😂
Headline says Downtown Rome. I’m nine minutes in and all I’m seeing at strip mall roads …
Endless stroads that look like Anywhere, USA 🫤 It’s only the DT’s that have individuality .
This is MGT territory. No thanks.

Those roads aren't in bad shape.
