I've been looking at videos to help me out.. i've checked all three boxes in that audio screen but even when i take a video of some gameplay with one of my friends and we're in party chat, i can't hear his commentary when i rewatch the video. Same thing for him with me. He uploads yt videos but can never hear what im saying

Yes, unfortunately on PS4 you can't add/remove audio.
