This began my Christmas tradition. Watching Wallace & Gromit every year during Christmas beginning with this film "A Grand Day Out", followed by "The Wrong Trousers" and "A Close Shave".
I like how the "A Grand Day Out" trailer pretends that "The Wrong Trousers" came out first, even though in reality it was the other way around.
"It's the wrong trousers gromit! They've gone wrong!"

I love Wallace’s hand movement when he says cheese
When I saw A Grand Day Out, I also thought the Moon was also made out of cheese, but I actually realized that Wallace was actually eating Moon dust. Plus, he and Gromit weren't even wearing space suits either because there's no air in space. That's my theory.

This was my first Wallace and Gromit short after I've seen Chicken Run at Elementary School. It was a fun aspiring clay animation. XD

In one version of the VHS when Gromit is looking at his musical Birthday card, the card was playing Happy Birthday to you, while the other version had For he’s a jolly good fellow. Does this copy have the Happy Birthday song or the Jolly good fellow?
This copy has the Happy Birthday song.

@@WillCWilson I think it’s the replaced one, and also, my as the Creature Comforts preview and it has the BBC Video Logo from 1995.

is it the original 1991 release by any chance?, cause if so then you got the original version of the wrong trousers with the original soundtrack on it which was changed when the series was rereleased, it should have happy birthday replace for he's a jolly old fellow and tie a yellow ribbon round the ole oak tree as the song that plays on feathers radio
