Ironically, the mom's cleaning is actually creating MORE mess. If she stayed in the playroom, the kids wouldn't follow her all over the house, thus the mess would be centralized in the playroom and easier to clean.

That's interesting. I read an article about how their HOA was going to sue them because after Super Nanny left they went back to their loud selves. The downstairs neighbor even had to sleep at his family members house because the kids were so loud. When many neighbors complain you know something is wrong. I seriously wish nothing but the best for the family, and hope they are all doing well.

This mother is truly overwhelmed. She feels like if she missed one thing to clean that it's going to all pile up on her for another day. I get it.

My mum spent her whole life cleaning. I remember her vacumning 3 times a day.

same with my mom.. my sister and i could never really just go be kids or hang with friends. It was always "you aint going no where, we arent going or doing anything fun bc yous are helping me clean and yous cant go anywhere till its all done" issue with that was the cleaning was NEVER done.. the few times we did go stay at a friends or camp, we never got a" how was your time, did yous have fun" it was always "well i hope yous are enjoying urself bc soon as you get home we are getting this house and yard cleaned" She has even made us come home early. like we had to clean the house like adults when we werent even teenagers yet and if a mirror had streaks on it or we forgot to sweep behind the toilet, forgot to wash 1 pan that was left in the oven. I mean little simple things. We would be at a friends house, staying a week for church camp, an hour away from home, not even a day later BAM " I want yous home now!" I'm 33 now & recently just realized how its negatively impact my life as an adult
Lovey Hope theres a point where kids need to have fun my toddler trashes the house but at the end of the day we put all the toys back where they are meant to be haha i get him to help me before his bedtime so he learns to clean but its only once at tye end of the day theres no point cleaning all day mess just follows with children
My mother is like that too. Growing up, the time she was home (she works all week) the whole time she'd clean. Vacuum, wash, mop etc etc and it would take all day. As a kid it was hard because, like this mom, she wouldn't spend time with her own children. As we got older, she found the reason to be manipulative and would only see us as people who clean for her. Again, never spending time with her children or speaking to them like we're part of her. It's really hard to grow up like that and I would wish no one to grow up with parents like that

Honestly I feel that dad likes the fact of having a family, but not the responsibility of taking actual of them. He seems like her just kinda settled and counting the days until the baby turn 18 so he can bolt!

The dad and ordering pizza reminds me of my dad when he was left to make dinner :)
When my parents divorced, my dad had to start cooking for my two siblings and me when we were at his house. He never did it before (my mom did all the cooking...), but he really tried to make "real" meals for us, he learned recipies, etc...
He always prepared what we liked the most. For example, he always bought my favourite cheese when he knew I was coming over 😄. But we very rarely ate pizzas, or hamburgers. He made a special effort to give us healthy food, and with the years passing by, he became a very good cook !
My dad had and still has many flaws, but he showed that he cared for us through things like this one. I respect him for that.
Totally agree with you. Nobody's perfect, I'm grateful to my parents because they've always done their best. They made mistakes, like everybody else, but I try to focus on what they did well, instead of holding grudge for what they did wrong... It's not always easy, to be honest, but it's a good exercise ! 😄
If I don't don't cook up a restaurant style meal my OH goes mad,yet he happily eats ramen noodles and lots of rubbish and has never fed our two yr old once.

does no one have a freaking lock on their door? If my kids could open the door, I would put something on it, so they could not.
It’s never easy to address these situations and face your own mistakes or emotional background. I never judge the parents I see on the show. They hadn’t learned any different and they were really putting themselves out there in order to improve life for the kids and themselves. Being shown what you are doing is not helping but making it worse is a hard blow to take, even when you are somewhat aware of that.
It’s nice to see they come together, they reflect and continue their beautiful family life. Though I’m sure even with techniques and etc, it’s never 100% perfect. We are all human ( parents and kids). All the best to you!
Yeah I hate the judgement. Being a parent doesn't come with a instruction book. We all do our best and learn in the process ourselves. We want the best for our children but we are at the end of the day humans and make mistakes and most of us live and learn.
Honestly the only families that ive really judged were the ones that were hurting their kids ie the dad that was hitting his kids with a belt

Awww, that is sweet. Yeah, I get the moms compulsion to clean. It’s psychological. She should carve out time to play w them and/or snuggle w them each day. Playing w kids can be boring after a while and I get why cleaning may seem more stimulating. But not sure why she didn’t figure that out after two kids? Why have four?

My kids are 16, 14, and 11 now, but I used to threaten my kids with Supernanny all the time when they were little haha! They were SO bad, despite using tips I saw on Supernanny. Now we just laugh about those times, but MAN, they used to test my sanity on the daily!

So many stay at home moms work hard not to care for the home and kids as much as to appease their husbands. They feel lesser for being at home even though they have a heck of lot to deal with!

My house is not really child proofed. My child is almost 2 and knows my cabinets and cords are off limits, along with other things because we started discipline early. When I say no, I mean NO. I don’t have to worry about her when we visit a friends house who don’t have kids. Gotta be consistent and firm with your discipline and expectations.
There was no child proofing when we grew. We just didn't touch what shouldn't be touched. Our house or others

Jessica Jordan if you can’t control your children and make them a priority then you shouldn’t make more of them. Plain and simple. Discipline and boundaries are a must, no matter how many children you decide to have. My animals are better behaved then these children.
One thing I learned in life is not to point at others for their problems as strange as they might swwm because I don't know what life will bring to me. And so far life didn't disappoint and brought some stuff I thought I will never do/say/think.

Its so hard to be super mom. To balance out cleaning and spending time together and letting your husband rest from a long day. Its so wasy to get lost. At least u had a clean house. U r a super mom. Now for safety amazon prime girl jusy click click all saftey baby items and boom u dont have to worry about the kids getting hurt. Im happy u got the nanny to help u see where things turned. And help ur husband respect u more. Ur a good mom dont listen to anyone.

I was shocked when she felt it was ok for her 3 years old daughter to listen to vulgar music. Mom- "Oh she don't know the meaning of p***y or d**k. Oh I don't think she listens to the music" SMFH. This woman is crazy with her obsession with cleaning. She can't take care of 1 or two but she end up with FOUR. Imagine no play time for her kids, no wonder her kids behavior Stinks. She also have an attitude that stinks. WHAT ABOUT GIVING YOUR KIDS A NICE WARM BATH OR SHOWER BEFORE BED. So often I watched these videos and the kids goes to bed with the same clothes they were wearing all day. A bath or shower before bedtime relaxes you to a good night sleep
They might not be allowed to due to TV. Also clothes are important for the camera, you can see the nanny wears the same every time. But of course it might be them, don't know for sure

It amazes me how many of the parents on this show don't put their kids first. If you aren't going to put your kids first then wait on having kids! I guess that some people don't realize just how much work goes in to it. You have to sacrifice a lot of yourself and your wants. But it's always worth it!
