So the Bucs/Bears game was the infamous Lindsey Nelson “drunk”game. Folks say he was sick, but he looked toasted during the scene set.

Sounds like Lindsey Nelson has a cold instead of being drunk. You can clearly hear the sound of him sucking on a cough drop now and then and also with his teeth sort of clenched when he has to talk with it in his mouth (7:35)

Harry Carey was ripped ass all the time. 🥴🥃There were a few guys that took a few pulls during the games..lol. I know Summerall had some pill issue I thought for a while...you could tell he was a bit slurry sometimes. Hey whatever it takes to get by..😉😄Lots of former players announcing ...you know their bodies were ravaged, esp back then.
