Apologies for the weak audio on my side. I will try to find a better microphone in the future. Hope you guys enjoy and please, share any ways to make the interviews better for the future!
Good job👌 And how great to see some of Jeff's impressive book collection !👌 And great to hear Worms of the earth getting some love! (Its my favourite too) Check out the original Savage Sword 16 and 17 for the greatest 2 parter ever!
Kudos for a fantastic interview. Shout out to Jeffry Shanks, his essays' are so insightful and adds more to the stories. I also hope to see more Solomon Kane and Dark Agnes stories.
@@SwordSorceryBookClub I hear ya! It's so exciting when people we admire are so generous with their time...especially when they fill our heads with such great information! 😊👍⚔️
Great interview. Jeff Shanks is always a pleasure to hear from. Also, I was just reading some Berserk and the mention of a Conan manga is intriguing. The highly detailed and hyper violent action scenes in Berserk scream Conan to me. If Heroic Signatures could get the right studio to do the job, my word... Conan would be perfect if they kept Kentaro Miura's tone in mind. Anyways, great job again!
So true, Jeff is awesome. It's a shame the creator of Berserk passed away, but the team he left behind still carry his style, so it's still possible to see a Conan manga in the style of Berserk. Even if it's probably very unlikely since a Western IP based manga would probably be made by a small/new mangaka. Thanks a lot for watching and leaving a comment!
Great interview, lots of wonderful bits if info. I've reasearched and even wargamed the War of 1812, so know about the Creek abd Seminole Wars, and the African Marines, but had never heard about the independent African fort. Jeff has got to publish that graphic novel.

Thanks for checking out the interview! Jeff's collection is very very awesome. Next time I have him on, I'll ask him to show off more of it haha
Thank you much for posting this. As always, Jeff is a fountain of Howard knowledge.
Also, hard yes on a trip to Stygia.
We should get the whole crew together and it'll be a regular Eldritch expedition!
@@AnAgeUndreamedOfsign me up! 😂
