tom brady made this guy look good no offence
Julian was good but never elite.
It must’ve hurt sitting on the couch while watching the Eagles get revenge and beating your team in the Bowl.
But he wouldn’t have been the difference maker and the Pats STILL would’ve lost..
Butler would have been the difference
@@stephanea5364 I dunno, Butler was legitimately the worst corner in football the following season for the Titans. He was a very on and off player.
@@ChokeslamToHell They needed ONE play on defense, and the idea he was bad with the Titans THE NEXT UEAR is irrelevant.
@@stephanea5364 yeah maybe, but clearly he did something wrong. I heard he missed the team plane to the SB and they played it off like he was sick and in the hospital for a day. McCourty even said “Malcolm knew what he did.”
Just like it hurt when you lost at the very end to Hofamer Mahomes and Chiefs, enjoy your one chip😏
He didn’t
Tell that to the Falcons!
He's second in postseason receptions and TDs, only behind Rice, and he's a Super Bowl MVP.
@@NRF787 He was a good receiver who ended up with a team that was always in the playoffs, playing in a era where the rules are made to benefit QBs & WRs. His career stats aren’t very good for a “elite” receiver
@@EH-sx6do His career stats are excellent for someone who played QB in college. He was the go-to receiving option (I guess after Gronk) on the most dominant team in NFL history.
@creepshow Charlie??? Good player, played well in big games. Not elite
Overrated because of his QB and coach
just became a Julian Edelman fan!
So many important third down conversions, so many important post-season catches. Won't be a first ballot, but a Hall of Famer eventually.
no he won't lmao stop getting on the hype train you need at least decent stats to get into the hof and his career stats are horrible
@@cyborgeatsfood8028 Second most career Postseason receiving yards in NFL history. Fourth most career Postseason total yards.
The Hall of Fame isn't about meaningless stats. It's about leaving an impact on the game. Without Edleman, the Patriots don't have three of their Super Bowls. He's the exact same as Lynn Swann and John Stallworth for the Steelers, and both of them are in the Hall of Fame.
@@SchrodingerMil he’s not a hall of famer.Welker yes eventually but Julien used PED and that can’t be denied
@@LanceG007 they all use PEDs, where TF have you been
@@cyborgeatsfood8028 your an idiot and obviously never watched this man play and his stats overall are good, especially playoff stats when it really count's, you want to laugh your ass off at somebody in the HOF who's stats are terrible, both regular season and especially the playoffs, that player is Joe "shitbag" Namath
Media Host: "How does it compare and feel to be wanted by the New England Patriots? "
Edelman: "I don't know, nobody has ever actually wanted me before."
Good Receiver however he never filled Wes Welker's shoes. Wes was another level above Julian.
He never filled Wes shoes u right he was better he won three rings while Wes blew one for us with that missed catch
@@ketrelandrade4153 You seem to confuse team success and personal success. Eli Manning has got to be better than Peyton Manning or Drew Brees based on your logic...
@@TheMrNukeman I will say I think Edleman was tougher. He took some shots like in SB 49. Welker clealry was the better player, but him dropping that pass in SB 46 will always haunt him
Crazy Wes Welker never won a ring with the patriots
Really??
He was never close to being elite.
He certainly was in the playoffs
Need to be a Patriots fan and watch all 16 regular season games to appreciate how good he was. FIRST DOWN BABY.
@@ryanadams2308 overall, that’s a small portion of his career and doesn’t make up for the fact that he averaged about 50 yards per game in the regular season.
@creepshow I watched him play plenty. I watched him average 50 yards per game and 11 yards per catch over his career. That is not elite
@creepshow a ton. The patriots were on prime time often and they were always in the playoffs so I saw them a ton even though I’m not from NE
Elite ?
I think the word your looking for is productive
