4 weeks is still a lot of time! I def agree with your big, going over what you get wrong in the practice test is really really helpful. Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions :)
You're so amazing Sabrina! Some of what I really like about you is how hard you work and your determination. You're so inspiring! I'm glad to see you improving and I'm sure you'll do the same on the actual MCAT. Just don't burn yourself out and overstudy these last four weeks. If you've done all you can and still don't get it, that's okay. It's okay if there is something you just can't understand. There's always so much you can do. Anyway, good luck during these next four weeks and if there isn't another video before you test, best of luck to you! You got this!
You seriously motivate me so much to be better and focus more time and energy into what I need to get done. Man. Major respect. I'm sure you'll get the score you need after all this work, but even if you somehow randomly don't this next time, you've obviously learned so much about applying yourself towards goals and that kind of thing. Wow. Go you.
Good luck Sabrina! I've followed you since I first started university (back in 2007, I'm long finished now!) and I love to see how you are doing :) you study more than anyone I know in real life, I hope your Mcat goes well!
Your videos really motivate me to study. I used to get really low scores and wondered why then i stumbled upon one of your videos and i was really inspired. You are a really smart and pretty girl.
Take it from an MCAT tutor: make sure to get the AAMC Section Bank for your last study stretch! It's 100 questions from Chem/Phys, Bio/Biochem, and Psych/Soc written by the MCAT writers, so you'll be best prepared for the exact way they ask their questions. Break it up into groups of 30-50 questions, complete them, and then immediately go back and review those questions, paying careful attention to what you got wrong and why you got the question wrong (you'll start to see a lot of similar ways that the questions try to "trick" you). They also have CARS sections you can buy as well, which might be worth checking out for extra practice as well. Good luck!
I watched this video right after I watched the one where you tell us your score and I just got so insanely happy for you!! All your hard work and dedication paid off big time!!! Congrats!
I just took the first AAMC scored one and i noticed that cars was really hard too!! my score was lower than what it normally is and it made me really upset but hearing this is definitely helping, my exam is two weeks away.. so scared.
Ahh we are totally in same boat girl, I'm witting on July 22 as well. I'm definitely gonna try your strategy for physics since I need improvement in that area. For cars reading for structure (knowing where the claims and evidence are in the passage) rather than reading for content helped me a lot.
If everyone had as much motivation as you do to do something great with their lives, the world would be a much better place! Don't get yourself too worked up, you sound so prepared, so of course stick at it, but remember to squeeze some time in their for you as well! :)
Once you get into med school (you are so dedicated - i would be shocked if you didn't), will you still be doing vlogs? It would be awesome if you could take us on this journey with you.
This is the same approach I'm trying to take as well. My test date is August 4th and content review just hurts my head at this point. The only thing I'm "reviewing" is the TPR Psych/Soc book. Now I just gotta buy the section bank and grind through those and work on the practice tests I have laying around. Good luck on your test.
HELP! Where can I purchase these exam kracker packets of difficult questions? It would be a big help if you can attach links to where we can buy all these resources you're mentioning, please and thank you!
i literally feel the same exact way about everything! I'm in the 506-508 range right now and it's really worrying me because sometimes ill just completely mess up on one section out of no where. I hope i can just do well on the real exam because i want at least a 509 ! its so nervewrecking :(
I feel your pain with physics/chem pain. I start studying tomorrow... I did a diagnostic and got a 124 on bio/cars but 118 in phys/chem... Need to figure out how to approach these problems.
Keep up the good work, I really believe you'll do good in the test. I suggest almost-constant study until you take it in ~4 weeks, which has helped me for hard tests! Oh, and it's good to know you used Khan Academy at 2:26! That website has helped me so much.
Hi, are there any online practice tests/subscriptions/question banks for the MCAT? Or there are only practice question books offered by prep companies like Kaplan, TPR, etc?
How do you study for B/B? It's my weakest section and I find that I always have a hard time understanding those experimental passages with different graphs and stuffs.
Hi, i am taking my MCAT on July 27th, and I have been watching that it is too late to take it on that time but I am not ready now and if I do I'll do poorly. Do you think I should apply after taking it? It's too late to even apply? Should I just take it, wait to see what I got and study for 4 months and take it again and apply in the next cycle? I need some recommendations. Thank you?
I'm doing the same thing actually but I'm applying mostly DO which tend to have later application cycles. Depending on the schools you apply though it may not be too late cause a lot of schools interview up until february-march. I was advised that I take it when I was ready, and despite my application being complete in august instead of July, if I finish secondaries within 4 weeks as they come, my app will be submitted right around most schools start looking for interviews, and Grades/MCAT/ stellar app would push me ahead of the pile.
Maybe try doing more practice tests every week like 2-3. And dont take the test until you're getting at least 3-5 points higher than your goal score on practice tests. This gives you a little breathing room for test day nerves.
Unfortunately the lowest to get into an MD school is 508~30 on old mcat. 503-504 for DO schools so aim for higher and take more time if you ain't ready. 500 wont get you any where :( I am almost at the same boat as you. Good luck and never give up! "It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward" Hit me up if you need an advice since I will be taking my mcat soon as well
Don't give up either! One of my really good friends, my big actually, got into medical school (MD) with a 503 so don't lose hope either. She applied in state and that is what I am planning on doing too! So don't feel down on yourself if you're in the same boat as me, we got this! Good luck to you too :)
Yeah, medical schools are starting to move toward the "hollistic review," where they'll look at your resume, personal statement, and letters of rec with more weight than before, so MCAT score is not the end-all-do-all. Good luck to the both of you!
I mean, I got a 506, got seven interviews, and got into three schools (going into MD next month), with the rest of the interviews resulting into being waitlist spots. Every applicant is different, and it's not just based on the MCAT alone. Research, volunteering, your essays, the interview, and your grades all play a huge part. Don't give up hope. Just keep chugging along and try your hardest. :)
If you dont get it, why not ask a teacher or someone? Maybe they can explain it to you and give you an explanation that you arent getting. That always works with me

Ahhh your video speaks to my soul! 4 weeks until my MCAT and I am in the exact same boat. Your videos help me push through this tough patch!!
I'm sure everything will work out great Sabrina! I really admire how hard working and passionate you are :)
Your videos really motivate me to study. I used to get really low scores and wondered why then i stumbled upon one of your videos and i was really inspired. You are a really smart and pretty girl.

You can do it! I raised mine 12 points in 3 weeks! just keep at it! :)
Good luck Sabrina!!!! You'll do amazing on the test, especially for how hard you've studied!!! Love you girl❤
Good luck! I am sure you will do fine, you an inspiration and role model to many people!
Just keep at it! You will be fine
I just took the first AAMC scored one and i noticed that cars was really hard too!! my score was lower than what it normally is and it made me really upset but hearing this is definitely helping, my exam is two weeks away.. so scared.
Good Luck! Same boat, taking it on the 22nd as well!
I'm not even doing the MCAT, but I love watching your videos!!! Love u Sabrina ❤️
I notice you look a lot more confident about your upcoming mcat! Keep it up! U can do it xxxx

You can do this!!
I look up to you a LOTTT. keep at it I love you!!!

Thank you for these videos! you are like the big sister I never had.
You'll make your biggest improvements in the last month before the MCAT :) Good luck girl!
Just keep up the hard work! You're going to do amazing and I know God is right there with you through this whole journey!
HELP! Where can I purchase these exam kracker packets of difficult questions? It would be a big help if you can attach links to where we can buy all these resources you're mentioning, please and thank you!
Ahhh I know the feeling! it'll be over soon. we have to look ahead and keep walking toward our end goal:)
Once you've taken the MCAT you should do an in-depth video on how you studied for molecular biology and other difficult classes :)
Completely agree regarding the CARS passage...I feel ADD AF when i start reading about stuff i have 0 interest in haha
i literally feel the same exact way about everything! I'm in the 506-508 range right now and it's really worrying me because sometimes ill just completely mess up on one section out of no where. I hope i can just do well on the real exam because i want at least a 509 ! its so nervewrecking :(
I went up six points from scored AAMC test on Tuesday to the real test on Friday...Just be confident in yourself and know all of the formulas haha
I can't relate with the MCAT but my IB, SAT, and ACT exams are kind of intense. Keep studying!!!!
I took the SAT 4 times didn't study for the first one and that was the highest score I made lol
Yup, I have AP's and the SAT this December!
do you recommend doing IB?
Retaking mine July 22nd too! :) Best of Luck to you!
I feel your pain with physics/chem pain. I start studying tomorrow... I did a diagnostic and got a 124 on bio/cars but 118 in phys/chem... Need to figure out how to approach these problems.
Good luck, Sabrina! Make sure you're giving yourself a break from time to time. You can't study 24/7, and it won't be productive if you do.
Good luck in your MCAT.
Good luck, Sabrina. :)
Good luck! 👏🏻🙆🏻💗💕
Keep up the good work, I really believe you'll do good in the test. I suggest almost-constant study until you take it in ~4 weeks, which has helped me for hard tests!
Oh, and it's good to know you used Khan Academy at 2:26! That website has helped me so much.
Khan Academy is bae
I hope you do well sab 💕
You're such an inspiration
You are my goals
Good luck!
Sabrina where do you get those practice tests that give you a predicted score? Are they online? Looking beautiful as always btw! :)
Hi, are there any online practice tests/subscriptions/question banks for the MCAT? Or there are only practice question books offered by prep companies like Kaplan, TPR, etc?
I have my med school entrance exam in a week! I've been preparing for months but I'm so nervous!!
How do you study for B/B? It's my weakest section and I find that I always have a hard time understanding those experimental passages with different graphs and stuffs.
I haven't taken psychology in YEARS. would it be okay if i just study off the books or should I audit the class?
what practice tests are you using?
Good luck

Good Luck! :)
Wish you all the best :)
how do you calculate your score on the practice test?
Hey Sabrina! What year are you?

I'm even more scared then you after watching this video. Good luck, feel exact same way.
Do you know any Vet students???

What score are you aiming for?
