Verse 19 “and I will bring Israel again to his pasture” This seems to be a prophetic jump in the later days? The thought occurs because he names Assyria’s destruction and Babylon’s destruction. The generic name of Israel would here stand for the 12 tribes united for full blessing. At end of 19 , Ephraim and Gilead have been well gone over 100 yrs under the rod of Assyria.
