  • Decision based games are famous for their multiple possible outcomes driven by player choice. Most dialogue/scene variations, especially the rare ones, are often not found by many players. This motivates me to provide a more complete experience for everyone. This channel focuses mainly on decision based content as well as Easter eggs, guides, tips & tricks, and playthroughs of decision based genre. I create unique and original videos in which I cover every single choice, dialogue and potential outcome. Every single dialogue option is independently recorded and edited together to form a single, continuous, and cohesive video. This takes an extremely long time due to the many subsequent playthroughs all of which are recorded and edited by me. None of the CONTENT in this channel is ripped or reuploaded from other fellow youtubers. If you could all drop your support my hitting LIKE or SUBSCRIBE it would be greatly appreciated.

      Next time I play the game I’ll put the blame on Jefferson. If I were a teacher I’d listen to Kate and I’d do anything I can to try and help her, I’d even ask her if she needs a hug, and maybe I’d give her something that would comfort her, like maybe some calming music maybe, I’d give her permission to listen to music.

      @@mattint0sh That's what I did. I didn't wanna cause trouble with the Prescotts & I truely did think that David was trying to help Kate (even if it didn't seem that way)
      But seeing the way Jefferson blew her off and that was final straw for Kate, I felt justified blaming Jefferson.

    Kate is an example of what happens when no one cares, or offers an ear or hand to listen or help. The way Jefferson totally blew her off, he's partially responsible for Kate's attempt.

    It has just occured to me. Was he fully aware this talk could lead her to give up ? Did he orchestrate her suicide ? I never rewinded to listen to the conversation, so only now I'm realizing he might have been purposely driving her to suicide.

      I might be just overthinking this, but Jefferson is a smart villain after all, who's able to avoid being a suspect until the very last moment, so here's what I think was his actual plan:
      I think he just didn't have a concrete plan to kill Kate after he was done with her in the Dark Room at first as he most likely assumed she wouldn't remember anything because she was drugged and later unconscious. Actually, I think that Victoria's video jeopardised Jefferson's plan as Kate would actually be the "perfect" victim. If she hadn't been recorded and was taken by Nathan before she would unwillingly make out with somebody, she would only wake up outside her room and "feel gross". And because of her strict Christian upbringing, she would be most likely too ashamed to tell anyone about what happened to her, so Nathan and Jefferson wouldn't have to deal with hiding a dead body, being investigated should Kate be inevitably declared missing and they would easily get away with what they had done. If Kate wasn't bullied, she would probably keep all this to herself, fearing that people would make fun of her or the Prescotts would ruin her life, if she dared to accuse Nathan of something and wouldn't tell anybody, probably not even Max.
      But since we can't hear the full conversation because Kate is already talking to Jefferson by the time Max enters the building, she could have possibly told him about her suspicions of Nathan taking her somewhere and hurting her. This would have definitely been a major red flag for Jefferson (remember that Nathan spills the beans about the whole operation almost immediately if he gets arrested in the Sacrifice Arcadia Bay Ending), so he could have decided to go for a Plan B right then and there, knowing that poor Kate is already on the brink and very unstable and just needs a very small push to attempt suicide. So, Jefferson most likely wanted to railroad her into taking her own life with his dismissive and snide remarks to take out a loose end and prevent her from talking to more people and the authorities (unfortunately for him and fortunately for us, Kate at very least already told Max and could have also gone to the police beforehand, if Max encouraged her) without being a primary suspect in a murder case. The fact Jefferson also tells Max in ep5 that he plans to "pay her (Kate) a visit" and "to test her faith", if Kate is alive and Max mentions her, would suggest that he wants to get rid of her one way or another as she knows too much about the Dark Room.

    • @TazeBrickway
      @TazeBrickway ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Jefferson is pure evil, but I don’t think all the hate his character gets is deserved and this scene makes his character better imo. A lot of people hated him because they thought that it was stupid that he was the killer all along, but there were plenty of small hints (plus this new interaction) and I absolutely love the idea of an artist obsessed with his or her work to the point of madness; seeing their inner pestilence burst out and reflect on to everyone else, especially an artist is just incredible to whiteness. Obsession with an art and it’s negative effects is a really cool premise to explore, like in “Black Swan” and “Whiplash”, but what makes Jefferson special is that he’s let his obsession manifest beyond just fame and glory. His devotion to art eats him from the inside out and he needs to satisfy it somehow, thus his actions in the story I just think he’s a really good, very subtly showcased icon of a villain.

I was able to hear it from Warren's class without rewinding. You can't get the little cutscene that plays if you enter Jefferson's class after rewinding without Kate leaving the area first tho. Sorry for my English.
