Blade of the Exile could be an equipment that costs 1 only the turn you create it, and can't be created if you already behold it, so it stays unique and it's not busted because of the 1 cost
@@JohnPaul-nb5iu The point was how to turn it into an equipment, the cards that you can play on different units once the first dies, without it becoming busted because of the 1 cost, but leaving it at the same cost as now when you first forge it.

Blade of exile is never 1 mana.
It's always 4 because you have to play 3 other 1 mana cards to make it.
