Depends what it's being used for. Recreational use, a full size SUV could handle it with some toys on it. If it's commercial, say a mowing trailer, I recommend a 3/4 ton, although a fair amount of landscapers getting started use 1/2 tons/1500's. Any of them can pull it, duty cycle determines how long before you wear it out. Thanks for the review. I’m looking at one of these exact trailers but in 18’ only option I need that this trailer in the video doesn’t have is the 2’ expanded metal mesh sides. Is those sides available? I’ve contacted my local dealer to see what they say. If I can get the sides I want the sure trac May very well work for my needs. If not guess I’ll have to get the Kaufman an live with the dovetail. Thanks
Yes, you can get mesh or regular height sides, or you can do high sides with mesh. Most of our customers prefer wood over mesh, but you can get either. We've stocked some both ways, and customers definitely prefer wood. Because wood high sides aren't custom, I believe it generally ends up a hair cheaper as well.
That unit has springs designed and perfectly balanced for a 4' gate. If you have a 5' gate, and a reinforced gate, you'll have some weight, but not bad at all. We have springs in stock, give us a shout.

We would generally install a winch at the dealership. They are fairly rare on a utility landscape trailer, but our most common winch would be an 8000#. We occasionally have something lighter like a 4500# in stock, which may also work.
Hello sir , my interest in this size trailer is to put a mobile shed on this trailer for the purpose of a BBQ grill behind the shed, on this trailer in my yard so I'm asking your opinion of this 7x20 I still have to get all the correct measurements and a correct size of a customized shed that will fit properly into this and have the grill welded behind the shed with a roof build over the grill to release the smoke! Does Sure Trac offer heavy duty spring replacements for the 5' ramp gate? I have a 5' ramp on my Sure Trac and it's like the springs are non existent

you always have grate trailers but i dont really want to drive all the way over to you/ dont really wan to pay for shipping ......
