Elie Saab makes me want to get married just so I can wear one of his dresses lol. Love him. Everything is so magical.

When I first time saw Elie Saab show... Wow! Second collection...beautiful! Third collection...oook! Fouth collection... again?! It just seems like his is a good dress maker but not really a designer, same dress form again and again, just play with different fabric in each collection, no inspiring to me anymore... so sad...
I think what Elie Saab is showing us it is enough for presentation their brand, their style, no matter if dresses look like the same all the time,..the same thing with Dolce Gabbana collections, they have very similar dresses in every collection, but its couched in one style, their Own style, so they don't need to do something very new, cause if they do, they will start copying each other, other designers they are ganna lose specificity of their brand so it will be no brand any more.
natali d sorry I disagree, yes D&G has the similar dress form in every collection but they have a fashion statement in each collection that keeping the market feel excited. i think that is very important for a brand to keep on rollin bigger years over years. So far Elie Saab collection just has nothing new can make the media, fashion magazine bloggers and larger audience to talk about it that is not healthy for brand's future. anyway I still respect if that is Mr.Saab wanting his name going to that direction, this is his creation if his is happy about it that's all matter I guess

Devon Yan Berrong you may say that Elie Saab's collections are similar. But actually it's changing as well, sometimes very feminine, sometimes added some strong and tough elements. Doesn't it just like a growing lady? Not only girlish but more mature and tough and strong.
