After the new guy took over He changed the format Rich Fred Sue Tim The 4 main people got canned And 3 yrs later are now back with garrison doing one off specials. They have even been on TH-cam Doing the skit on camera at home because of this virus. It's great to see them doing these old skits again.
Thank you for posting all of these. I've enjoyed this entire playlist. I've loved this show for 3 decades. I will miss it so much. Fortunately, there are a lot of PHC postings on TH-cam. Thanks for everything, Garrison and crew. Best of everything.
Some of my fondest memories as a child involved me and my dad driving home from football games on Saturday nights listening to this show while my dad's cup of coffee made the car smell so good and warm. Mr. Thile is going to have some huge red shoes to fill. I will miss truly miss ole G.K.
Whenever my dad was home on Saturdays and Sundays he would listen to A Prairie Home Companion. I don't know exactly when the show started, but it is one of the very few things in this world that he loves dearly. He still catches the new show which he enjoys. I wanted to have a birthday shout out for this year but don't know if they do such a thing. He'll be 62. Is there a bluray or DVD of this show? I know he has the film version of the movie that came out in theaters.
When does GK's new show premiere'? "A Prairie Retirement Home Companion"... Rockin' Chair . "rocknroll", and all that. No need to cut off the "addicted public" 100% .
I did enjoy after sometimes I consider again and again. Guest who am I and who are you. Talking to someone's like you I feel funny. Many thanks ; Freedy Burney and company.
"I remember those women so well, I just... I loved them all. One by one they turned in their resignation." Sounds like he was becoming kinda self aware around that time.

I hate when audiences clap along. Seems to always throw the beat.
Ben -- That's because because his audience is made up of Norwegians.
