Our "great vine" has been under Phylloxera attack for few years. We usually just trim off the infested branches. Its a really huge vine (10m approximate length) so digging wont help. Is there another way to get rid of the Phylloxera source or is this it? Its my favorite grape and seems to be in great shape besides the Phylloxera attack.
I plant garlic around roses to keep aphids away. It really works. Might try it to discourage these bugs too? Maybe plant some wild native grape around too to help. Dunno. Can’t hurt anyways?
Good description of what it is but not much info on what chemicals to use.
Thanks so much. what is the name of the company producing the systemic chemical?
