Nice work! I’m always interested in how this could be done without the metal fastenings. I can see some options… but of course getting it past your local codes and inspectors would be almost impossible.
😂😂😂 Man, people, the roof structure is completely oversized. I t has twice the dimensions that it needs. Did the structural engineer have tomatoes on his eyes or didn't you have any at all?
That’s some high level craftsmanship. Well done
This would bring a tear to a glass eye
Must be incredibly satifying to bring a job like this together. Bravo.
I'm a builder in Japan and that was still crazy cool.
Thanks
Fantastic frame - well done everyone at Post & Beam - delight to be working with you guys 🙂
Our pleasure!
Very tight work - nice.
Absolutely Amazing!...
Absolutely Beautiful.
Thank you!
That’s an awesome looking frame!
Vraiment magnifique cet assemblage, très très belle réalisation ! Chapeau bas !
Crazy but it still looked exquisite!
Thank you
So intricate!

Exactly- it’s the engineers that demand the hidden steelwork that strengthens the joints.
Great framing job, but have you seen the Notre-Dame spire?
... no need to go that far ... Yorkminster or Westminster Hall ....
It's a nice structure, but I do not see where it is so intricate. The only thing i may suggest is to always bevel beams. Rule nr one for fire defence.
not intricate but dumb
... says an expert ...
Très belle réalisation en France ont travaille différemment mais félicitation 👍
Where is this? Is it the Cathedral de la Notre Dame? 😄
Hi
No it’s a house in Devon, UK
why not just use steel and a welder?
Why not just use wood to wood?❤

Timber sizes are down to the structural engineer I’m afraid. He was nervous on this one!
