@@angiem52 i prefer mod vanilla because it smells warmer and it's not intensely sweet as Bare and I think that the lasting power is stronger in my opinion. I know people say it smells like cloud but to me they smell nothing alike at all

I would consider just selling mod blush on mercari because I've heard the stores literally just trash returned perfumes which is sad. I really wish they would make a discounted new-used section so someone could still enjoy it, ya know. But do whatever is easiest for you. We're all too busy these days. Love your videos!!

@@sarahb7933 most stores have a policy about destroying used items or where the protective seals are damaged, I worked at ulta and if it couldn’t be legally resold (unused and in new packaging) it was destroyed. Bath and body works is slightly more lenient and will assume returned products are unused based on condition but I know ulta is strict about it.
@@giaparmer Dang… that’s a shame. I’ve been wondering all this time what actually happens to returned perfumes with opened packaging and 1-3 sprays missing because of the buyer testing it. I’m happy that I don’t blind-buy perfumes and instead test each fragrance first! That way I never had to return any of my perfumes, and only have a collection of which I adore every bottle. Thank you for your explanation girl! 💖
@@sarahb7933 ofc ! Yeah I try my very hardest not to return to ulta bc their waste level is crazy. I’d honestly rather buy a body spray with 2-3 sprays missing than have a 99.7% full body spray get emptied and thrown away in a padlocked dumpster :’(
I'm a big Ari fan and not offended lol. After all, she is mainly known for her music. I hope they come out with Mod Vanilla in a body mist because for some reason I feel like it could layer well with other scents without overpowering it. Sounds very unique.
i’ve been loving mod vanilla, it’s the perfect daytime creamy vanilla and you have to pair it with wrapped in vanilla from BBW it’s to die for 🤍 Mod vanilla also has a cocoa butter note in the base, can definitely smell that creaminess 🤍
I’m obsessed with mod vanilla, best Ariana fragrance ever. I don’t think it smells anything like cloud, I actually think the base notes smell a lot like GIAW, but cloud and mod vanilla smell amazing worn together!!!

I just got mine in the mail today and I really like both! Mod vanilla smells like cloud mixed with god is a woman.
They were meant to be worn separate or together, but I think I like both the Mods mixed together the best, at least on my skin. There’s something comforting about it

My mom took me shopping to choose one and I liked Blush better! Such a clean floral scent with a hint of sweetness. I found vanilla wasn’t that strong but it was still nice
Honestly I really love mod blush more than the mod vanilla, which surprised me because I am a HUGE vanilla fan. I love both scents a lot though🥰
Mod is basically the 50s and 60s equivalent of my generations (millennials) hipsters. It's a subculture that we mostly associate with 60s fashion. When I think mod I think Twiggy.
I agree that it’s different and better than cloud! I LOVE the mod vanilla and I didn’t love cloud. I couldn’t stop smelling the magazine sample until my mod vanilla came in the mail 😂
Mod was a whole vibe and artistic movement from the '60s. Think of the furniture of that period and the shirt graphic dresses...even her bandana gives that vibe....Austen Powers was a spoof of that time. The bottle definitely gives off the vibe. I would buy the perfume just for that little egg.
Mod is from the early 60s. It was a huge fashion, music and decor style. Very space-race inspired.
Mod vanilla sounds like my scent profile, but the bottle looks awkward.

I feel like you’re so easy to watch, I’ve been binging your videos and unless I’m searching for a review on a specific perfume I don’t really skip parts in your videos. You don’t talk too slow or too fast and I think you describe perfume scents really well. And I like how you put the notes. I’m with you on bombshell I never liked it so I’m not gonna pick up the blush one, but I’m definitely gonna pick up the travel size for mod vanilla at Ulta. Super excited.
I loveeeee mod vanilla!! I know a lot of people compare it to cloud and I get it, kinda? But it works 1000x better on my skin chemistry. I find cloud okay but I hardly ever reach for it. Over the five days I’ve had mod vanilla I keep wanting to reach for it. It reminds me a lot of sweet tooth by Sabrina, but different enough that I prefer this slightly more. Mod blush is nice but leans more floral on me which is not my perfume preference. Still nice but not one I’ll reach for that often.
Also longevity for mod vanilla lasts so nice on me. This morning I wore vanilla woods and I instantly sprayed mod vanilla on top and it’s so beautiful together!!!
same, def works better on me too. I do get a little bit of Cloud in it but the notes aren’t as sharp to me.

Mod blush is not at all like bombshell lol I'm not sure why she thinks is similar. Mod blush is absolutely a beautiful girly scent 🤩💗👌🏻 both perfumes are great
I was never a huge fan of cloud and I was a little afraid of trying mod vanilla because I though I was gonna be a lot like cloud, but i love it so much!
as someone who loves bombshell, and i didn’t even know they were similar, i’ve wanted to try mod blush since it came out so im really glad you said the two are similar!

It’s amazing what our body chemistry does with perfumes. The vanilla mod on me smelled very light but after a few hours my body warms it up and it smelled identical to Gentle Fluidity Gold by MFK AND that one is about $300 a bottle

My store had them out yesterday & it’s completely stocked up. I was told tho when I was checking out that these were not supposed to be put out, I’m assuming it depends on the store but the official in store date is the 11th but because it’s available online to order some stores are probably putting it out early. I am in love with the vanilla one I just got it today & tbh this is probably one of her best perfumes released to date.
How I would explain mod vanilla it’s like the original Ari perfume but it’s not as fruity & has vanilla added to it. To me this smells like mixing cloud, Ari & the Billie vol 1 perfume tbh & it’s so good. I will be real if y’all own the 3 I listed above you do not need mod vanilla. I will say this, this fragrance is SO GOOD!!! This is better than cloud & cloud 2.0/intense & I think everyone needs a vanilla like this it’s a 10/10
Mod blush, it is not it…. I was so let down because I liked the pink packaging more it is a very safe perfume & I felt it didn’t last as long & it was very “mall” type perfume & it’s just not my fav.
Mod is a 1960s fashion term (short for MODern). it was when the fashion becomes more modern (short skirts, kiddish fashion) also in the 60s when they were obsessed with the idea of future fashion which were space alien influenced.

Mod Vanilla definitely smells like Vanilla Woods by the 7 virtues. Unfortunately i didn't like either perfume 😔 and I had been so excited to try them.

Mod Vanilla does not have coconut, it is cocoa butter. Fragrantica screwed the notes on their page.

Mod is kinda the 60's vibe. Most of her packaging has a mod vibe to me.
Cloud smells woody and only woody to me. ( Like not a Perfume vibes) . Mod vanilla will be interesting to me. I'm definitely getting it .

These bottles look like soap bars. But Mod Vanilla sounds good based off the notes. My favorite Ariana frags are Moonlight and Cloud 👌🏻💜
The vanilla has a powdery something i don't know if i can work with. I'm a super gourmand person and don't like the sharp musky perfume features so maybe it will get creamier but i don't want perfumes i would have to mix with another perfume and i feel the only thing that makes it tolerable for me is by adding a true vanilla to it. I added solinotes vanilla with it on my wrist and it cut that sharpness i smell a little but i still smell some flowery something lingering. I just want a really good vanilla that is a bit more sophisticated and not so lounge around the house and i can't find one. I need a middle of the road fragrance but not too fancy if that makes sense. Uuugh.

Mod describes to me the 70s -- late 70s Fashion? As Mod is just another word for Fashion, btw. These 2 fragrances gives me the idea that, they're for wearing them for everyday use? I would really like it then, cos I like Bombshell🌸

I'm very late to this one I did see this video of yours when it first came out. But I just tried the fragrance today. It is April the 25th of 2024. And I like it the vanilla. I sprayed it on my skin. I'm gonna try the Joe Malone, Frangipani next because I sprayed that, but not on my skin. I will get all 3 mods in travel cause I'm also wanting vanilla candy and bon bon scents.

It's sooooo weird that here in Chile, Ariana Grande's perfumes in especiallized perfumes stores, could cost you 20 dollars on sale. Ari or Moonlight are arround that price. Maybe bc here Ariana Grande's perfumes are not very well known. Cloud it's the most expensive one, but like 40 dollars. I thought the US was cheaper!

im having a bit of a dillema. i tested eilish in store a while back since i was looking for a vanilla scent, and i liked it since it smelled like cozy warm vanilla and cocoa, but now there's mod vanilla that i also see has vanilla and cocoa. im gonna be trying it in store when it launches in stores here but i wanna know how much is it like eilish, and what differences do you sense from their scents? which one is more prominent in vanilla? like, which one smells for vanilla the longest after spraying it, and also id like to know if this smells at all like cloud or god is a woman because i heard it smells like both of those and i already have both so im really confused

Hi love! I got to smell the fragrances and for being a bombshell lover I was not impressed with MOD BLUSH. Smelled like a body mist. BUT MOD VANILLA I REALLY ENJOYED like the a mentos candy mints lol 💕. It’s different then what’s out there.
i really hope she can come out with more moods like a orange bottle with tropical notes. also i payed $94 for the vinella.

Tbh to me Mod vanilla smells a lot like Cloud and when I smell Mod blush I think about Sweet like candy. I like them both but I think I will be wearing Mod blush more because I like sweet sents.
But I'm a little dissapointed because they smell a lot like her other perfums and I wish she would bring a whole different sent.

@@claires7268 I’ve only smelled 2. Ambery Vanilla smelled amazing and I bought it for my niece as part of her Christmas gift. The other one I can’t even remember the name. It smelled ok, but not really my personal preference. I think it was a dupe for Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt. I became interested enough to look up the brand online and saw there’s a BUNCH out there and now I want to smell them all or hear the opinions of noses I trust. Lol

My store has the testers of this and I didn’t like either of them and mod vanilla smelled too much like cloud and I actually hate cloud with a passion. I think it smells like cheap Victoria’s Secret bronzed coconut that’s been sprayed on someone who smells heavily of cigarette smoke and burnt plastic. I know people will get mad at that because so many people love it. I can tell when someone near me is wearing it and it makes my stomach flip. My husband says cloud smells like burnt motor oil 😂 we have a 15 year old niece that wears it
Finally someone who don't like cloud 😂 for me zara red temptation, burberry her and sol de janeiro flower 68 all of these have a specific type of scent in common and this really bothers me

@@hummmiiee everyone perceives fragrances different. Some people like things others don’t. Some people love mugler like angel and alien. I’m repulsed by them all. Angel smells like wet potting soil to me, angel muse smells like wet potting soil and gasoline and alien just smells like a toxic chemical that shouldn’t be sprayed near a human. Some people just aren’t gonna like cloud. I don’t it’s ok don’t be offended

Those bottles are really ugly. I really love a few of her perfumes (don’t think I’ve ever heard her music so honestly was hesitant at first to smell her perfumes) and even those bottles make me always throw away the weird plastic holders.

Yesss i totally get what you mean, there is a very medicinal undertone to it that becomes more prevalent the longer it stays on my skin. I still dont mind it though lol💁🏻♀️😂
