At New Year it is very popular in China to make paper-cuttings to decorate the home, and spread some festive cheer and positivity. The designs are usually displayed in the windows of the family home, or shop fronts to wish passers-by a happy new year, and to wish everyone good fortune for the year ahead.
This video shows some basic designs for anyone to have a go at paper-cutting. I intend to make videos showing more complicated designs in the future, but this video is just to let you see how easy it is to get started.

挺好的，剪纸非常讲究阴阳，线条流畅和剪稿完整性，不能断线，这就是剪纸的魅力 ！所以就要求我们在剪的时候充分考虑好点、线、面的连接，造型的生动性，跟绘画不同，但也是相符相成的，加油哦

中国传统剪纸魅力无穷，简单易学，容易上手。镂空艺术剪纸与绘画最大的不同就是设计上一定要线线相连，这样不管怎样剪出来就不会断开了，至少是完整的作品。另外还要注意阴阳布局合理，图案才会清晰，不至于一团乱七八糟
