Okay. So it is Plastic Man and he is literally one of the most powerful superheroes or beings in DC. You should look him up. He's immortal, completely indestructible, and has no limit to his stretching ability, he can also move his organs to other places in his body, and the list goes on. The league sent the young heroes because they wanted to protect the masses while making it look like they were too preoccupied with the people to come after the villains, then they sent the team in secret to distract the villains and draw them away from the controlled plants. The young heroes were the best choice because they’ve built up experience with their current missions but no one really knows who they are like that, in the eyes of people outside the league, they are still side kicks who can’t be considered large threats
I'm glad we get to see a full league roster pulling up. Blue Devil, Captain Atom, Zatara, and the Hawks, among others, this episode. Also, ultra humanite is the OG of OG Superman Villians. Put some respect on that brain.

@@AsifKhan-fq5xg Why do they have at least 5 villains? That's such an abitrary standard lol. There's plenty of series with fewer antagonists who are just as good or better than Young Justice. Justice League TAS/Unlimited, Teen Titans, JLU, Avatar, Owl House, Gravity Falls, Star Wars The Clone Wars, Invincible and Arcane. That's just off the top of my head. There's no doubt others that I haven't seen or thought of. Chris, that is The Ultra-Humanite, one of Superman's oldest villain.
Okay, so we’re spilling the beans on Vandel Savage. Got it 👌🏾
The silver dude that absorbed all the radiation is Captain Atom. He is one of the heavy hitters of the Justice League. The blue dude with the staff is Blue Devil. The black superhero and the girl are Icon and Rocket from Milestone Comics. And the unknown Green Lantern is Guy Gardener. The MOST ANNOYING Green Lantern from Earth.
I remember when I was a kid and thought Grodd and Ultra Humanite were the same character
Fun fact: Ultra-Humanite is one of Superman's oldest villains dating all the way back to 1939.
hope you guys are enyoying getting to know more about the corners of the DCU
I’m really enjoying these reactions!
Can we start a campaign for two drops a week or double drops by S2? 🤞🏽
so if Navi does all the plants in the studio, she is not Navigator she's Posion Navi (pronounce the "avi" part like "ivy")
Vandal Savage's story with Hawkgirl and Hawkman in CW is actually my favourite. His YJ story makes sense for the plot but CW Vandal Savage really loved up to his name
Idk. From memory he was too one track minded in the CW. Here he has larger more ambitious goals
@@bakagakure6435 Bro what? He literally caused WW1 and WW2 and other events. He was secretly controlling the Earth, he had mad ambitions... Maybe you just forgot 😂
@@infaredreactions You're still talking about the CW version right?
@@bakagakure6435 Yeah you should probably rewatch it 😂
That doesn’t sound right. Vandal Savage in YJ fathered Atlantis and Doctor Fate, playing the longest game imaginable with and against Darkseid. What could be better than that?
Blue guy: El diablo. Silver guy with the red star: captain atom.
I highly recommend ya guys too check Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, they go deeper into those characters
His Captain Atom he was in the OG Justice league animation the guy absorbed radiation
Alyssa Milano as Poison Ivy and Steve Blum as Count Verigo that's amazing 😁😆
14:02 Its Wotan, he's a Doctor Fate villain.
Hope they remember this episode when they reach s04
I won't say too much about Vandal Savage but as far as human villains go, he's a pretty big deal.
Aside from the comics, he was a recurring villain in the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited TV shows.
the writing on villains in this show is the GoaTed writing of any USA made animated show villains. Things will get more and more interesting, complicated & heartbreaking
I wouldn't go as far as to say it's better than literally all other western animated shows, but it is mostly great.
@@tortoiseoflegends4466 except Batman:TAS...can you name 5 series with at least 5 great written villains?
@@AsifKhan-fq5xg Why do they have at least 5 villains? That's such an abitrary standard lol. There's plenty of series with fewer antagonists who are just as good or better than Young Justice.
Justice League TAS/Unlimited, Teen Titans, JLU, Avatar, Owl House, Gravity Falls, Star Wars The Clone Wars, Invincible and Arcane. That's just off the top of my head. There's no doubt others that I haven't seen or thought of.
Young Justice has a great quantity:quality ratio, and it very rarely has throwaway characters we don't see again, but you really can't just say it objectively has the best villains in all media.
I know people don't really like this version of The Joker, but he does do at least two things that are pretty in-character: Saying "Always wanted to carve this bird..." and opting just to kill everyone instead of surrendering.
(At 10:00) you guys don't remember Captain Atom?
You genuinely have to have been living under a rock to not know half of these characters, even by normie standards
always wondered where Swamp Thing was during the bayou fight.
I NEED YOU TO GET TO EPISODE 16! that was CRAZYY
The Light: Vandal Savage, Klarion, The Brain, Queen Bee, Ocean Master, Lex Luthor, and Ra's al Gaul.
That is the 'current' light you've been waiting for. Lex Luthor, Ra's Al Ghul, Vandel Savage, Klarion, Queen Bee, The Brain and Ocean Master!
3:50 Next Friday reaction has to happen now lol
Villan teams always ask the joker to join because he likes to to go after any that don’t.
I think you guys could benefit from having a hardcore DC fan in these reactions. This show goes deep into DC lore in future seasons. It's easy to get lost or confused when they bring up characters and plot points from the comics.
The show has its own continuity and is an original story, it uses comic characters but it does not need a hardcore fan. They just need to pay attention and enjoy the ride.
@@bradsw206 Until you watch the Beast Boy episode where they dunk everything from Doom Patrol to him being the Avatar of Animals on you without any warning.
@@marksimon2085 That's the show's fault then by not taking the time to set up things properly like any narrative worth its salt should.
The work has to speak for itself without external aid.
@@cormano64 No arguments here, but the fact of the matter is that Young Justice gets more and more alienating for Non Comic Book readers as the seasons go on and simply paying attention is not always going to work as the previous dude suggested.
Mark Hamill may be the OG but Brent Spiner is a legend of his own, great voice for Joker imo.
Sorry but even I believe John DiMaggio was a far better Joker then Bret Spiner……..
@@ryanvanbeek2673 Whatever, I can't just compare what I haven't ever heard, and there's a lot of Jokers I don't know. Just saying I like this one.
Damn I thought this week was failsafe but I was wrong lol
This came out with the buffy beer episode😂
This show does a lot of great things and has some amazing interpretations of beloved characters.
We don't talk about Joker
Cómo en el dceu
Remember the schoolbus, it comes up again. And again, and again.... Lol
Also Ultra-Humanite is a scientist who put his brain into a giant Gorilla. And yes, that is Plastic Man who predated Mr. Fantastic and the Fantastic Four by two decades.
I think you guys would really enjoy the DC New 52 animated movies. There are some real gems in there and some of the stories are crazy! Dark Apokolips War is one of my favorite DC movies ever made
Captain Atom became one of my favorites in this show lol
