I have walked from one side of this bridge to another side while it was being built. Only the ropes were tightened with no slabs (what to say that part) installed in the Kushma-Gyandi Bridge. And BTW soon there will be Bunjee Jumping on the next side bridge (Kusma-Kaya).
Even if it is allowed to ride Motor Cycle, I feel this is not the right place for adventure. Making inconvenience to many people who came for a peaceful walk through the bridge. Also riding a bike can be over straining for the bridge as well.
What happens if another idiot from the other side brought his/her bike n met in the middle? That's why u need a security to control these kindda nonsense.
A.D Correct. So before I got onto the bridge, I made sure that no one is trying to come from the other side, I started when I saw that the path is clear.
but there were people. they don't matter i guess.. I'd be pissed if i was one of the ones walking on the bridge and if someone rode their bike. its scary as hell to begin with n the bike being there doesn't help.
A.D You're right. I would be pissed off too. But hey that's how it is in the mountains. No other way to get yourself on the other side. And there's rarely a moment in the day when this suspension bridge is empty. It is the only way to connect two localities, and locals are used to it.
Bike with a rider puts a lot of weight (pressure) on a SMALL AREA, which can cause damage to the bridge - you know the patch area of your tires is really small, right? And what if you leak oil, making the road slippery? What if your bike catches on fire, which can happen - then what? You'll throw if off the bridge? A cool idea in theory to ride on a suspended bridge, but highly risky and selfish.
Thank you for your concern, but locals ride their motorcycles on this suspension bridge everyday for many times since many years. I first confirmed if I can ride a motorcycle on this bridge or not, and then only went ahead. Thanks again.

Anup Lamichhane that's the kusma kaiya bridge. and there lies another one nearby this one, on the left side (approximately 100m away, highest and longest then this one)
The Kusma-Gyandi bridge was the former and the first tallest suspension bridge of Nepal, however, this bridge is Kushma-Kaiya bridge which breaks the former bridge records and also another Kusma-Phalewas(Falebas) bridge has been built which breaks the Kusma-Kaiya bridge in terms of length. I’m sure you are not the first person to have done so dude, but when you see a father clinging to the edge holding his child above the fence simply to make way for bikers, it’ll give you a chill down the spine.
Totally get your point but you can't figure out this when you get on the bridge in the first place. It may seem risky because of the wide format of the camera lens, but locals are totally used to it. ✌️

Nice

Can you please tell me howvmuch far is this bridge from thamel
Close to 250 kms. Enroute Lower Mustang (Muktinath).
It's far 7 hour from ktm
This seems so rude. Families waited forever for a safe crossing and you bring a motorcycle across it?
Yes. They do too. Every single day. Multiple times.
I would be scared out of my wits to walk on it, let alone ride on it
