I have one doubt can u please clear it. If i play an video with 5.1 Dolby digital plus audio DD+ (EAC3) in TV and connect it through ARC input to this kit what will be the output from spdif (RAW) is it 5.1 data or PCM 2.0 . Because some where i heard that only Dolby digital 5.1 can be send through optical or coaxial output but not Dolby digital plus 5.1 audio. And if if this decoder gives DD+ raw output then what decoder i have to use to convert it to analog. i think normal optical to 5.1 decoder boards available now in market only decodes Dolby digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 . please reply..

Sir, my personal view - still this board is not useful for manual amp as it only outputs analog stereo.. it is same as getting stereo out from TV or other android box. We will not get original 5.1 unless we use SPDIF out and a decoder like HD rush or Futech DSP or Astra kit. Even gtech PCM kit will not decode Dolby or DTS.

@@SriKrishnaAudios I think you are getting confused.. It is just Dolby/dts pass through. You will need decoder. What is the use in giving stereo input to prologic board, I can do that directly from TV. TV also has multiple hdmi inputs. Your videos are good sir.. Nothing against you. Just that the product will not be useful for manual amp. Pls understand my point also. If had 5.1 analog out, then I will agree this might have been a great product.
